Png problems… Green/blue background?
Hi there! I’m really new to website development. I do mainly graphics, so a client asked for help with her website once we were through using graphics. We’re developing a strange problem, however. On her computer system and on one other computer, she considers a " minty green" background behind a lot of the graphics. I don’t see it and also have had other individuals look–no one otherwise sees it. I think it’s a png compared to. gif problem, however. I prefer make use of png files because of the gif files seem to have a white edge around these folks sometimes, but we put in place some gifs along with the problem went apart. Does anyone know why this is or if there’s an easy fix It will take forever to rewind and make every little thing a gif and also replace the layouts on her internet pages. Especially since this is something I can’t personally find out if I’ve fixed!! Do you find it something she ought to update in her browser maybe Whenever she’s using IE, it gets the colour gamut wrong with regard to PNGs and, when displayed beside a solid coloring or another image akin … Continue reading

Part of this can be a last post to another thread I am in but I am really hoping someone — anyone — can help me get that. I’m working on a screen that may be apparently 1400px wide (don’t knowledge mine is a lot larger than usual given that I am just on my older laptop that’s over 4 years of age and wasn’t anything special while i bought it). I’m using Firefox THREE. 0. 8. Here’s among what’s confusing me… look at the site – diyhomesavvy. com – then at recipegirl. com. We’re both using fixed width layouts and firebug affirms her’s is 984px wide and mine’s 980px wide but when i compare the two using the same browser around the same screen her’s looks in excess of 4px wider compared to mine. Quarry has about COUPLE OF. 5 – 3" on either side on the wrapper and recipegirl solely has about ONE PARTICULAR. 5 – ONE. 75" on also side. Can anyone you should explain what’s taking place , with this You should help Looks pretty close to the exact same width on FF A COUPLE OF. 0. 0. 20 Perhaps it’d serve you to apply a … Continue reading

Easy rounded corners…well maybe
MY PARTNER AND I ran across this url that creates spherical corners and makes use of a copy plus paste thing. I make my but this could possibly be an option if you don’t know exactly how. I tried the item and tested in FF2 and IE7 and works in both. I don’t learn about other browsers when I didn’t sense like major examining or anything. Just thought I’d pass it along because a number of people ask about circular corner boxes. www. curvycorners. net should this too. Ya find out, it just seems easier, less computer code, and cross browser compatible to generate these with top rated, middle and bottom images in lieu of using js along with complicated code (complicated in my opinion anyway). I’m about to stick with by myself! Although Spiffy proverbial box was pretty simple. Moz and Safari assist you to create curved factors with CSS solely http: //www. css3. info/preview/rounded-border/ Great stuff! Only when IE would jump on this phone! HTML: < div id=" roundedContainer" > < div class=" roundTop" > < img src=" topLeftCorner. gif" class=" corner" /> < /div> <! –Content will go here–> < div class=" roundBottom" > < img src=" … Continue reading
