Interesting issue I’m having…

So I’m focusing on this site: http: //internetplazas. com/fmhs I cannot seem to cut off which gray link bar at the top/middle that expands forever. I’d that it make to stop at the edges and so the site is you nice box. Any thoughts I got myself the template a while ago and didn’t allow it to become myself. Many thanks! Try giving it a predetermined width, such while 700px Also, tables are very outdated with regard to layout Thank you for the easy reply… what is the simplest way to set in which limit Also, if tables usually are outddatted, what do you suggest Many thanks again. OK – My own first advice to you will be to recode this with no tables. Failing that, what you’ll want to do is come across this line (about line#36) with your HTML: < td background=" images/menus_bkg. gif" align=" center" > Drop the graphic (you’ll put this back with CSS) along with add a class towards < td> tag – so: < td > Then within your CSS do this specific: . menubar background: url(images/images/menus_bkg. gif) repeat-x; /* this specific imports the image */ size: 775; /*this sets the width */ border: … Continue reading

How Many Designs Do You Offer?

How many designs does one offer to customers At this time I offer clients 3 designs to select from but am finding this is not cost-effective as POST spend a LOOOOT of time on the design phase. Am wondering only can cut this because of 2 designs (average customer) and also 1 design (budget customer) and also still have joyful customers How much does everyone else do I do plenty of work solely by simply e-mail contact, for clients that are far from myself. I send them an exceptionally detailed questionnaire containing questions about the preferred colours, logos, other images, aim for market, what pages they demand (not everyone prefers a contact page, for example), just what the budget can be, what the timeframe is, etc. I ask them to deliver links to as a minimum 3 sites they will like and 3 sites hi-def like, and make clear why. There is space for a wish list (do they need a photo gallery that may be updated, do they demand embedded video, that almost thing). Once gathering all this particular info, I make a plan of the structure from the site, and a page design (on paper) of the preliminary … Continue reading

Moving Existing Site Galleries To LightBox2

Hello all, After i built my internet site, I used the handy tool " World wide web Album Generator COUPLE OF. 0". I liked the utility because it created an concept album, incorporated a filmstrip while displaying a complete size image, and allowed me to look back home. Over the earlier couple years the site has become out of date information wise, We’ve felt that your photo albums tend to be too basic to get my taste, and will not flow well with my site. I’ve grown partial to the LightBox2 style and wish to merge my albums in order to it. Unfortunately I’m having a difficult time visualizing how We would accomplish this having my existing internet site, code wise. My goal is kid click a standard text link on the website resulting in your LightBox activation. That link would have been a full gallery involving photos. This allows users to keep on the page but view photos relating to it, per a regular link. The kicker could be that the site has something like 3000 images. I’m not in opposition to recreating folders and doing each of the original work once again. I’m fine with beginning scratch. Thank … Continue reading

Javascripts and XHTML Validation

I spent major time yesterday trying to validate a web site containing javascript lastly gave up and developed a workaround. It meant employing an IFRAME for the portion of the page where the script was named in. The script was for just a slideshow which included links. It was your links code how the validator disliked. Below may be the portion of the script so it did not for instance… am wondering in the event there was how to edit the code to make it " likeable" and not break it. Everything I tried did actually break it. //Specify your slider’s images var leftrightslide=new Array() var finalslide=” leftrightslide0='< some sort of href=" " > < img src=" examination. gif" border=" 1" alt=" " /> < /a> I What seemed to be the error, exactly I can see a very few possibilities, although none that is going to show up given the fact the code is contained the next Javascript (blank alt characteristic, no width/height, and so forth. ) It only stated how the " a" tag was not allowed in which location. If MY SPOUSE AND I removed the ahref, then ?t had been happy. That may be messed up. … Continue reading

Ooh, I ‘ve a superb solution for this Make a transparent, 1×1 bright pixel, and set it as being the background. 0kb quality, so it’s as when you were using CSS. easy, open photoshop as well as a graphic editor. create a 1x1px canvas, make a new layer along with fill with whitened, then click that, and set the transparency to say 40% (you must try to fiddle by using this) Save and upload with your text container as: Code: #containerbackground-image: url(.. /images/textcont. png); Make sure everyone save it as a png though without a jpg because jpg doesn’t service transparency k Desire this helps haha GARY, Great minds assume alike ey! lol MY PARTNER AND I totally ninja’d ones post. FTP is all you must need to distribute them. So while you are done sending all of them up through FTP, are they noticeable as on ther machine, when viewing the actual file structure on the files Depending on the hosting provider ( it could be a permission thing ), you should consult whomever is furnishing your hosting space and determine if there are restriction.
