Web design books and magazines?

Hi everyone! I was asking yourself if any regarding you all own some recommendations for top web design publications or magazines around Preferrably both. I am a experineced print designer thinking of getting into 3D along with web work and choose to know how for making effective/creative websites. I have all the main design tools like Photoshop 7, InDesign, Dreamweaver MX, Fireworks MX, Thumb MX, Cinema 4D, Soon after Effects, etc. My business is currently working on a book that is actually teaching me coding ‘languages’, but it is often a bit dry. A more interesting book which may teach me this coding side of things can be useful. But mostly My business is looking for great books on how to make a creative along with enticing website that communicates my information clearly w/o too many great features. is dreamweaver mx slow only on my mac or…?

this dreamweaver mx i always use at home on my pc great, quick and simple to operate programme. the dreamweaver mx i always have on this kind of mac G4 at work, is just completely wrong. whatever i perform, it takes a long time to react. like, if i delete a line of text its likely to roll that tiny thinking clock cursor to the next 10 mere seconds. its SO irritating. and it maintains having these remaining pieces of impression… like, if a person scroll, some areas of the page will look as if remain in exactly the same place, althuogh theyre definitely not. if you know why. is the fact so on everyones mac or is there something generally wrong with this one any ideas what the problem may be o . k this processor isn’t the newest, it is only 733 mhz, but i’ve worked on slower and i had no problems. and i’ve 768Mbs ram. and im not running every other applications when dreamweaver will be slow. aranoid: bleh! I need help creating hyperlinks!!!

My organization is creating 8 webpages in photoshop i always will eventually make in to a PDF when every one of the pages are carried out. The final thing Relating to left to can is add buttons which can be hyperlinks. I concept of how to repeat this. Can I bring icons that appear like buttons and subsequently make them straight into hyperlinks in illustrator Will they remain place when WHEN I make the pages right into a PDF Is there a healthier way to do this I recognize that I can easily slice an photograph and add the actual hyperlink, but to tell the truth I don’t find out exactly how to accomplish this part of the idea even. Early concept of my web design

Hi. It’s been quite a long time since I posted on this subject website. I am currently working away at a huge project, which is gonna take me forever to complete, but I know I may be proud for you to declare as our first website i always put on the internet. I am mostly concentrating on the backend code of the website right these days, but I needed to create a rough design to ensure that I have all of the components I fact that the visual a part of the website, and see how everything are going to be put together. The attached photo can be a design I built within InDesign, and I’m keen to know exactly what you guys think. I as if it. It’s so basic, it’s beautiful. The only point I’d consider can be adding a visual cue which the list item you might have selected is the one that is displaying.
