Does CSS really work for liquid site design???
MY SPOUSE AND I originally designed this site using CSS and also HTML with many absolute positioning: http: //jump-pilot. sourceforge. net/index. html I thought it was before a bad site for the newbie until Manged to get some complaints from a few of the people viewing your website. When I exposed it on my browser at your house, which is much smaller compared to browser I designed coursesmart on I found it looked a lot worse! Even though I designed coursesmart to be at most 800 pixels broad, the page appeared huge and I’d to scroll to view everything. So I fixed to revamp the site to be flexible or liquid, and reduce the absolute positioning. I thought that this was a rspectable goal until I realized each cell phone has different glitches or shortcomings when it comes to CSS! A fluid design that appears correct in World-wide-web Explorer doesn’t look correct in Firefox, the other that displays appropriately in Firefox would not look right in Internet Explorer. I didn’t even try some other browsers! This challenge leads me to ask a straightforward question. Can I showcase a webpage employing a different stylesheet influenced by the browser that’s viewing it … Continue reading

Persistent Login Dialogue Troubles
I’m starting a site regarding my distributors to make use of in using the services of my company. The folders where this great site are located are generally password protected to the server side. After i set up pages in the folders, then try and access them by way of a browser, I’m competent to access the catalog. html page, ; however , when I aim to navigate to other pages in the site, I’m prompted for the username and password once more. If I hit cancel many times, I can complete to the goal page, but not merely enter the username in addition to password. Ideally, I would like the dialogue ahead up only once, and give the person access to the many files in the folder if they log in. Every suggestions Regards, K. What sorts of files are these I’m thinking that if you ever used PHP classes, you could control what directories they may be accessing by possessing them log-in and establishing a session varied. Naturally, the very best thing is always to use a MySQL database that will store files firmly… and access again is by a member combination thing (using sessions). Hmm… Are you … Continue reading
Internet Explorer Vs Firefox
I’m new to the forum & I really like online debates therefore I thought I might kick off my first post keeping this, I only simply downloaded firefox and i really like it, my vote stays in firefox and i will never go to come back! I mainly want it because it has tabbed browsing, its fast, includes tap out checking, you can easily add extra plugins & extensions! the use of firefox already, update to firefox 2 now, if you don’t have it yet, download it Exempt from: url=" http: //www. getfirefox. com/Firefox/url Which can you prefer please placed your vote & no problem your views… The only idea that bites is how firefox saves how do i hardisk. It doesn’t use the website’s title as its filename unlike internet explorer. Effectively, it uses your website location’s document name. That appears reasonable Firefox rubble, but so does Opera. And Konqueror/Safari. Really, just about just about every browser *except* IE bolders. Konqueror/Safari have a few pretty extensive assist for CSS3 types (like multi-column floor plans, multiple background images, border images, along with other awesome stuff including that). Firefox also possesses some limited support for a few of those. Opera’s lagging … Continue reading

Why is my site such a mess??
My organization is relatively new to website development. I did one other site and all was seamless, but that one is a substantial disaster. I screened it on my computer and this laptop, in Internet Explorer in addition to Mozilla Firefox plus it worked fine. I checked it today on my work computer and its a disaster. I am speculating the monitor dimensions has something related to it Also, it can not show up on google, even once i type in my web addess directly into google, it still doesn’t come up. If anyone is willing to consider my site and also tell me what i’m doing wrong, let me be forever indebted to you personally. online world. southendgardens. com Thanks a ton!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no problems on the site. Love those purple flowers in your home page! You will have very big still left and right margins within the main text spot. That will cause issues on cheaper resolutions. Additionally, you’re using framesets. I know that’s causing Search engines issues. It’s no longer helping your usability, both! Thank you for your info. I removed folks search that was in the very bottom in the page and it looks like … Continue reading
