I want to be a web designer but how?

Recently i got made well not required before christmas, which was also when we were getting married. It had been a shock and thought about no back up plan, i said we would never let it happen again. So i’d prefer to go into website development, My last employment was Cad-programmer/operator so im not only a stranger to pc’s. So heres what you want from you men…. What route/ path/ courses will i need to become an internet designer. A- B and so forth… Begin from scratch, no person seems to present me a right answer (just wish my money) I’d like this new profession, as its something let me enjoy plus we can work for myself together with a day employment. Also there looks like it’s lots of other avenues going down. Creating a navbar with buttons built into the background?

Iv been attempting to create a navbar using the buttons already about the background rather than inserting them ostentatious later, reason being usually I want make use of an enmbossing effect in photoshop to create the buttons seem to be set into navbar. Text Change Question

Im working away at a web site in dreamweaver, this webpage can be a catalog structure web site. Im trying to learn how to make the text change every time a different product is definitely clicked on, for instance when image ONE PARTICULAR is clicked on I would like it to say card 1, when image COUPLE OF is clicked on I need it to declare card 2. Does anybody have any suggestions on the right way to accomplish this php or javascript. probably javascript can be best. This will depend on if the revolutionary text will appear within the same page (say, as being a tooltip or additional detail) or if using a different page (e. g. a products element page). Javascript with the former, PHP or one more server-side language with the latter. I’m guessing it is the second though. hmm People never know. Flash Vs. Javascript

What should i learn next. I am wanting to improve my website development skills and know-how base but feel not sure how to start. What do you recommend within your opinion is the more important on the two to learn first. Javascript. You can do more with them, it’s more universally acknowledged by browsers, aging require a wordpress extension, and it’s much easier to tie to a server-side programming language for offers like AJAX. It also doesn’t suck, as opposed to Flash. Haha, point taken. I wants sure on coffee beans scripts limitations. I do like that it is server side without client side. While always thanks again. Javascript is usually client side. It can work with server-side languages, though. Flash can too, but it’s far more limited in this regard. Java Script without a doubt! Java Script it truly is. Started learning many of the basics from w3schools today..

Dreamweaver error message

Does anyone understand what this error is and how to fix it. In dreamweaver and also error message retains appearing saying it has an error on line 1 but all thats online 1 is the actual code below which can be on every site. Should I simply just ignore the fault message <! EN" " http:.. Check if that is correct. Usually, I see nothing wrong from it. Check your validation settings, when you have it to auto validate based on HTML and do not have XHTML validation aroused, you’ll probably have that message. I’m using a classic version of DW so have no idea of if the new versions still have option to auo validate dependant on different specs. For the IKEA website http: //www. ikea. com/us/en/ when you click on this little icon female, it pops up a window just like a help support windows but its definitely not exactly. You enter a question and it also gives you options for your question. I do think its like a good virtual automated aided. Does any one particular knows where I will find that exaclty program or something identical. Doesn’t matter when its free or maybe not. If anybody knows I’ll really regards. -Thanks There’s a jQuery autocomplete plugin which may get you section of the way. Others of it can be server side, so it would depend on your application. It draws from database and completes after that. hmmm… I’m not which advance in jQuery for getting that, but I’ll explore it. Gives thanks though. It’s actually not that hard if you know Javascript. It really simplifies lots of things (such seeing that AJAX calls). Explore it. It’s a new wicked pissa, as the Bostonians like to state.
