WAI Guidelines
Definitely all, I’m new here but I hope you can assistance me. I am interested in the WAI guidelines. Are they easy to understand/use Any advice for wanting to follow them Thanks on your help! MissE Its a much time process but so long as you are trying your best to conform to countless standards there’s no-one to ask more associated with you than of which. Best advice I’ll say is mooch via this: http: //www. w3. org/WAI/intro/wcag. php and read what you can when you could. Unless you have got a real social problem you’ll never have the capacity to read 100% connected with it so just make an attempt to keep them as their intended purpose when you read them. When you visit coding use your validators for all of your languages to make certain they conform towards the standards and if they can’t visit the guidelines and discover why. That means you’ll learn the practical route. So its an activity of: Code a little, validate. Code a little more, validate. etc .. When you are learning the convenience guidelines remember they may be there to aid us. They help us establish a standard and help those that … Continue reading

Can you make a good site with a WYSIWYG editor?
Howdy there, I’m focusing on a website strategy, but don’t genuinely have any knowledge involving languages. My current website was designed by just a friend, but I am getting frustrated with requiring you to wait until it is really convenient for him to perform any updates or even adding content. I used to be thinking of undertaking my new strategy myself, but I don’t know if I contain the time to find out PHP or HTML in depth. Can anyone suggest a good WYSIWYG editor that may let me design a reliable looking website not having much knowledge MY SPOUSE AND I don’t mind having to learn some stuff, just expecting the learning curve to be a bit high for any advanced stuff. I’ve used frontpage in the past and have found that almost all websites look amateurish, plus I’ve heard who’s writes terrible messy HTML that may hurt your se placings. Anyway, sorry for any long ramble, but if any one has any tips I’d certainly thanks. Thanks. The exact level of professionality (is than a word) is dependent on the designer, not the software. With that said, I would propose Macromedia Dreamweaver. HTML itself is not difficult to … Continue reading

I need ideas for site redesign
FINE. First off, the positioning is: http: //www. kolhalev. com. Even so, before you go to it, let me warn you. First, half the site is in Hebrew, so keep that in mind for your encoding in addition to such. Second, what notice on the homepage is not really the actual web site design. If you follow any belonging to the links from the particular homepage, you might find it. The reason the homepage differs from the others right now, is because the guy who owns this company has some material that he loves to update, but didn’t recognize the code or whatever from the previous design, therefore made a momentary one for him self…. long story. But now Patient hired to correct that. The positioning needs a brand new, but really easy design. I also can not deside whether it’d be easier to get the site in both languages at once, as it is already, or have just one English site your decide one Hebrew site. I plan at coding the page thanks to PHP… so, yep. I simply need some tips to help me get started. So if you’ve gotten any questions, reviews, or suggestions, I’d be glad … Continue reading

Is this website possible?
Anything can be performed right But here goes… We have a brilliant idea for a website. For it to be effective though i would wish an article submission system that is going to allow users with very little web experience distribute articles. Fundamentally, there would be a how to page. Then users could create a piece of writing, and add pics… they would then look for a layout for the actual article, this would basically be the way in which the text is spelled out and where the particular images would go. People would then submit a piece of writing which would visit a processing queue. It would subsequently be editted plus commented on simply by pre approved people. After it have been error checked as well as the content approved by way of 2 approved people it could be automatically submitted towards the site and joined up. Obviously a database is necessary. But yeah, does anyone learn how i would create a real system Or in case systems already exist that will do this. In the event you look at bbc news they need to have something this way in operation. So yeah, ideas on how i could do … Continue reading
