css browser compatibility

i’m having difficulty my css web pages…. my html pages show up fine in IE, but hd seem to reference/link towards the stylesheet when opened up in Netscape or even Firefox. any obvious tips i would be missing—-differences involving IE and Netscape and Firefox which i need to signal my css or perhaps html differently to get my pages to use the styles regards! -averan May well help if you can actually provide a reference on the page(s) you’re referring to. i could paste the entire page of code for the css and html code pages, other as compared with that, i are deprived of any site or perhaps pages online…. their all on the computer. I have browser issues…

Hello, The layout i’m implementing is located from http: //www. eliswebdesign. com/reeb. I’m having difficulties with the shaddow surrounding the content area. It’s now fine within IE and Firefox, but opera not so well. I messed a bunch in an attempt to get it to check good in IE as it is so popular and had for you to sacrafice the looks in Opera. The index page may be the only page i’m concerned with right now. There was your slight problem when using the centering in IE previous to i added another div which has a z-index of -1 which doesn’t show up in firefox but IE means that you can set left and right to auto but Opera won’t. Can someone remember to help me learn how to have the shadow work. Oh Yah and i’m sorry my style linen is http: //www. eliswebdesign. com/reeb/style. css. -thanks It’s actually off by one pixel in IE6 in the process.. was this the same problem in Opera Really, I think i’m just likely to start using dreamweaver. Looking to pursue a career in web design…..

Managed to get very into graphic design when i was about 13 years old and I’m currently 16 years old. I love it a lot that I want to acquire a career in them. I have quite a few questions though. JUST ONE. The only issue We have about getting a career during this field is that we won’t necessarily obtain steady income. I don’t aim for to worry regarding whether I’m visiting have enough cash for basic necessities. So is generally there some way I can get a steady income during this field Maybe work for a firm I had been told there aren’t some of them though. In other words, I don’t want to freelance. So is it possible to work for a company or something Or even what can POST do TWO. What classes should i take when signing up for college 3. How to change link color in div?

Inline CSS will involve adding some CSS rules directly inside the tag. Illustration: < div id=" content" style=" background-color: #7e45a4; " > Regardless of background color was specified in the CSS file for that id called " content", the actual inline CSS could over-ride it. Besides using inline kinds (I am personally not only a fan of doing things that way), I’d suggest creating a new CLASS and establishing the style in your css style linen. Then you can certainly apply and do it where ever you should. Just make sure its at the end of the sheet it overrides what happens to be there. I totally agree with DesignVHL, create a class may be the best approach. For anyone who is not already using Firefox with all the Firebug addon, do yourself a favor and get them. Menus display fine in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer – help please?

Hello all, I’m an overall total amateur at this and would really appreciate some assist. I’m attempting to customize a template i downloaded and have come across a problem. The menus for the top of that page work very good in Firefox nevertheless in Internet Explorer, they may be cut in one half! Heres the site I’m working in…. www. sledworks. net Its not as a result of my modifications or maybe the snow impact or anything….. the same problem was there when ?t had been a virgin format! Any help is appreciated as Make don’t understand how to fix this. We’ve Dreamweaver and here’s getting more knowledgeable about it as POST go along. Thanks a ton! I suspect that since there are a separate style linen fir IE6, IE7 and everything else… You’re seeing what you’re seeing within ie8 or ie9…… Possibilities look fine around ie7 If ie8 just isn’t called out specifically in the conditional statements… It should load the common sytlesheet… Create another conditional declaration for ie8… Plus load the ie7 stylesheet… See what goes on.

Hi, It is my first time posting on this subject site, or any webdesign site as an example. I have learned somewhat about web style and design here and there but may not call my self anything approximately a web designer presently. However I wish to design best way to track my hockey beach, with the quintessential goal of jogging it for others to utilize.
