How can i test my work on mac ?

Im setting up a webpage that have got to work on together Mac and Pc. The problem is that my partner and i only got a Pc to check my pages on. I’ve searched the net without success. I’ve even tried mac emulators but that would not solve my difficulty, because the mac emulators at this time only emulate 680×0 processors which gives me tops a System 6-7 using Netscape 3. Has anyone got a preview how i could solve this program without bying any Mac Bet way I could tell you is usually find somebody which has a mac(OSX 10. 2+) and make friends.. I deal with both so its not a problem for me, I might not trust emulators, and It would be senseless to buy a new(ish) mac limited to testing your internet site.

Do MAC FTPs even exsist?

I say GUI because the guy can get terminal to connect to his webspace, nonetheless doesn’t know the actual commands. Is now there a mac version of smartFTP, WD_FTP, cuteFTP, or other programs like this. They perform mostly suck. In the event he’s using 15. 3, then the Locater has an unstable one built in (Go > Hook up to Server). There is in addition the command-line FTP which behaves effectively just like Windows’. There are a few good ones to choose from. The problem will be I havent found a superb free one. Fetch continues to be around forever, CaptinFTP is cool in addition to RBrowser. But you will be talking 25-50 dollars. Fetch along with Transmit are a couple of good FTP consumers, but they price $25.

FTP connection dropping while uploading many files

I’ve really had it with this particular problem. It’s been bugging me for a long time. I’ve had this with CoreFTP, CuteFTP, SmartFTP and also RBrowser on mac pc, and about several different webhost machines. When I really need to upload a large amount of files, let’s declare, the whole package on the forum installation, if i drop the complete thing into publish, it uploads a few dozen files, after which the connection declines. Usually the message is something similar to – remote edge closed connection. It’s a wonderful hassle finding where it stopped as well as manually uploading every subdirectory on the subdirectory of a new subdirectory. WHY does that happen Will i avoid it mysteriously Can people try it via another location (work, house, campus, etc. ) Perhaps something your ISP lands on to prevent just what exactly they think–stupidly enough–is piracy. ive done it from a home office, work, and sometimes another country, same task!: / i feared perhaps some kind with restrictions webhosts live, to avoid overloading the actual server, but i do not know!

Help please! Menu Display Problem

Hi Recently i designed a website and We are having some trouble that has a menu, which in Firefox platforms correctly but inside Explorer the pictures are shifted to somewhat of a side making it look worng. Any help might be appreciated. The web site is: http: //www. pbcdemocraticparty. org, along with the menu is about the right column on the bottom, below your yellow box. Hmm, My organization is not sure what exactly is causing your challenge, but I did notice how the layout looks messed up on my computer – firefox on the mac. The suitable menu gets pressed under the articles. Whenever that transpires with me it’s typically b/c I intend to make one of the divs somewhat less wide so they fit, so one doesn’t end up getting pushed towards the bottom… Bless you Rasp, Let me also look directly into that and try to fix it, I didn’t possess the chance to test it on a Mac pc. Hi we are having a move at designing my own ring website because my business is training myself being a web custom. The problem my business is having is while you create your site plus its finished how do you test your site on different browsers and os’s when you end up with 1 machine Does anyone employ a solution to this specific problem Another question i’ve is if you test your web blog in 1 browser and it doesn’t work in another tips on how to solve this problem I created my site to see in the most up-to-date version of firefox and also tried viewing the idea in Internet Explorer A FEW. The issue that occured was that my site displayed fine with firefox and exhibited differently in Internet Explorer 6.
