Not sure how to make this rotating image
I’ve seen this using a few different sites now but not sure how to do it. I would indulge to integrate it on my web site. An example of what I will be looking for is usually on www. brewertonspeedway. com (where the actual image and text rotates but also permits you to click to numerous pages). Thanks in advance They are choosing Javascripting… In case you view a website and use your browser to determine the HTML program code by clicking within the menu bar… " View", then mouse down to " Source" or perhaps " HTML Code". This can be a link to the script they are using: http: //www. gypsumexpress. com/shared/js/glider. js They actually link to a script on someone else’s website (not a good thing to do). It’s relying on the " scriptaculous" stockpile of JS data. Scriptaculous is free to use. http: //script. aculo. us/ So that’s how they are doing it. If you don’t have a lot connected with scripting skills, you can hire a freelancer to be of assistance. They’re going to do the same task I did… perspective the HTML supply and duplicate that methods that they used. All with the scripts … Continue reading →

Spry Menu Bar in Dreamweaver CS3. Dimensions and cut off
It is my spry menu bar, it features a line through it (where the side of the default dimensions of each one unit used that will be) Just how do i fix this Plus I need them as a certain color (non-transparent) Does someone just edit the CSS on the right hand side with the dreamweaver app WOW – fat loss trust the array or dimensions in Dreamweaver design view – you actually have to try it out in your browser(s) to determine how it will find themselves looking. I have a really strange method of this – I developed my own ring method before Pondered anyone to present me the anything beyond one of the most basic functions in the software… All my classmates along with designer friends giggle about this – they receive way farther considering the layout and design and style using pure coding compared to I do in advance of testing, but this works to me. WHEN I basically use Firebug and WAMP as this WYSIWYG. I can lay out the basic blocking within DW, mostly while using the code view, very rarely the break view, usually based on a pencil design, sometimes on a rough … Continue reading →

The "design process" for noobs.
Hello there all. We’ve only been building websites for about two weeks right now, am teaching by myself and am improving slowly, but obviously with only two months experience iIm very terrible atm. What I found hardest and I couldn’t often fin any info anywhere which was detailed enough was your whole process. What I’m keen on, (because if other new members come here intended for help like I did, this may end up being of use) is what you decide to do first, next, there after and last and so on. Start to surface. The first website I made, and I have to stress, this is obviously the incorrect way to exercise, but for an idea: MY PARTNER AND I designed my site in photoshop, did every very last element there besides the text. Next I divided it up in photoshop and exported it to some html file ready for easy use in dreamweaver. In dreamweaver I made every one of the images background images while in the ready made desk then added all of my text articles and made the particular rollover images to the menu bar, repeating this method for each page of my site. Next I … Continue reading →

My site won’t work in IE
I just now launched my primary website this weeks time, only to discover it doesn’t display properly inside Internet Explorer SOME. 0 and IN SEARCH OF. 0. The web page is www. catherinelanigan. com. Quite simply, the left sidebar appears beyond place, as really does the spry menu bar. The web page looks fine throughout Safari, Chrome and Firefox, so I’m for a loss as to what the issue could be. Has anyone had this issue Is there a little something I’m missing Any help is treasured. IE 6 should display slightly different, but since anyone say both HUNTING FOR and 6 We’d tend to assume it’s part to do with the CSS code that is definitely specific to people browsers. ( there is a single statement for ie6 and ON THE LOOKOUT FOR ) Never quite viewed it done that way (in the CSS file), I always utilize conditional statements which are loaded in the head from the document ( following a CSS is packed ), to let the browser find out which statements to be able to process. Thanks in your reply. I see when I made this single statement (for IE SOME and 9) inside CSS file, … Continue reading →
