Problems viewing website using internet explorer
Hi all we are new here in addition to new to website design and need many expert advice. I currently working on a business card form of website for this fathers business and i will be having trouble viewing coursesmart using internet explorer visitor all objects ( Banner ad text and layer etc) appear beyond place the banner appears to the left hand side in the page and the text along with other objects appear to the right hand side belonging to the page ( if that is sensible ) where they should all be centred. However easily use opera or safari to watch the page everthing is actually perfect. any help with this is great thanks ahead of time. ps i designed the positioning using nvu in the event this helps many thanks: sleeping: Thanks for visiting the wonderful planet of browser inadequacies! IE8 thinks he’s IE6
Hello, I know this isn’t exactley a Web development question, more the browser question, but maybe someone will help me. I’ve recentley set up IE8 (upgrading out of IE6) and IE8 is what shows while in the Help> About info, but using IE8 I find the following or some thing simular from sites that will no longer support IE6: Incompatible internet browser alert Sorry but we will not support Internet Explorer 6TH. Please download and use a more up-to day browser: World wide web Explorer 8 Mozilla Firefox Search engine Chrome Opera. Every ideas Brian Sounds like IE8’s if it is compatible mode is started, and for just one reason or a different it thinks it needs to use the idea on that internet site. Compatibility mode just isn’t turned on, I tried turning that on and off, no difference still having the incompatible browser communication. Using IE8 I get IE6 incompatibility messages
Hello there I’ve upgraded by IE6 to IE8 however I’m still getting Incompatible internet browser alert Sorry but we never support Internet Explorer A FEW. Show different content to mobile users via same url?

Hiding images from IE
Hi everyone. I’m having trouble with a certain image that’s not displaying properly around IE for Apple. This is what’s going on. In the system css rule regarding my site, I have assigned a backdrop image. This image is fixed, meaning that it stays into position while the user scrolls down the page. This image is determined to scale from 100% width with no repeating vertically. Today, in IE pertaining to Mac this graphic doesn’t scale as it does for Opera, Safari, and also Firefox. So what There’s no doubt that I want to do is hide this from IE even though forcing IE in order to simply display any background color for your body css tip. Can anyone no problem me a hint on how to get this done I’ve posted that link of this site. It highlights everything regarding ya. We have a hatred out of Chrome. so not any I’d always be lost without chrome’s examine element. Alternatively find firebug for firefox!
