Doing something different with photos

I’m looking to dabble with the actual few photo galleries We’ve on my site at the moment. As you could see from this example they’re not particularly inspired currently. I love what the Washington Post does with its range of galleries plus what the BBC does with photos at the same time, but would choose to do something rather different. I’m certainly thinking of some type of separate viewing window, then storing the actual details of galleries and photos in a MySql database so We can add to galleries easily and easily (especially helpful for your writers’ galleries). Are there any other web sites where people own really liked the photo layout, or something you have done yourself which will you’ve had fantastic feedback on.

Help accessing pages on my [ftp?]

i’m building a web site page with sitegrinder COUPLE OF which uses photoshop to generate a web web page and i’m trying to add multiple photo galleries in to the page. i’m utilizing simpleviewer’s brother, autoviewer and also i’m having difficulties, uh… coding with this or whatever, i’m uncertain. i built some other photo gallery per subject i wanted, lets just say these are 1, 2, 3 OR MORE and 4. so i have four folders known as accordingly each that contains an autoviewer. swf, gallery. xml, shots folder, index. html and also a swfobject. js. now i put each of those four, uh, including " master" directories (1, 2, 3 and 4) within the root of this… i’m guessing file transfer protocol (i use cyberduck gain access to this). when i then link my 1, 2, 3 OR MORE, 4 gallery web sites to www. example. com/1/index. html then i never be able to the page i need, what am we doing wrong does the area where i intended for my files not work began seeing i’m thinking i will access the page only go to online world. ftp. example. com/1/index. html document but only once logging in. i’m … Continue reading →

Need Advice on Building a Website that a Novice Can Update

Our company has been tasked with building a website for a consulting firm. Most of the site is quite basic, but the agency has sections they would like youngster should be update themselves that will pertain to specific clients of theirs. They have got several different types of clients (i. e. healthcare, manufacturing, travel related, etc) and in these things categories they get several clients. When they talk to a client they build goals and they’d like youngster should be post updates because the clients meet (or do not meet) these objectives. They’d also prefer to upload photo galleries and videos, as well as be able to let the consumers comment and discuss things on their site. To my advice this section sounds like a blog, but I’d like to make is therefore the company only should log into another thing to make posts and updates for every client and plainly use something similar to WordPress, it will only let you make posts with a single page. Hello everyone I’m making a webpage for my girlfriend that’s a freelance photography editor and require some help building her website. Just what exactly she needs: -A place to indicate off a lot of the photos she features done -A place for individuals to request intended for her to modify their photos -A place for individuals to pay the girl for her work -A news/blog area to share with people what jane is working on and link to any youtube movies she uploads If anyone features any ideas please ok , i’ll know. How to link many images on one page.

Hello all, Now i am building a stock portfolio site, and am experimenting with Dreamweaver MX 2004 in an attempt to get the final result I’m after. While in the image I have got provided, you cane easily see that I have created a essential table. What I want in an attempt to do, is understand it so that when a user clicks at " previous" or even " next", they are taken through a collection of images shown however large cell. Are these claims possble One half-hearted way of doing it (a way Relating to tried in this past) would try to be have loads connected with identical pages, with all the " next" plus " previous" as easy links to find the way between them, but I would like to avoid this, and just have the image in the top end cell change rather than the whole page reloading when. If you do, could someone explain to my opinion how this is done, or direct me towards the relevant information.
