I’m preparation for a long-overdue upgrade on the Movable Type-powered internet site. I’ll be going from 3. 2-3. 33, and have got some concerns concerning plugin compatibility. The site functions several plugins this haven’t been updated in a while, and I’m curious about if anybody in these forums provides experience using them with 3. 33. The plugins that your are: DirifyPlus ONE. 5 MT-Macros ONE. 52 MTPaginate ONE. 26 MT-Safe-Href (is that even still essential, or does MT pick up URLs automatically now) MTRandomEntries 0. 5 Short Title SmartyPants ONE. 5. 1 Another thing I’d like to do is clear out a number of the 28, 000+ junked comments from the site’s database. Getting Business… where does yours come from?

For a time I did webdesign as being a hobby. I experienced some schooling. Now I want to start undertaking webdesign for do the job. My main worry is finding operate. Is there enough workout there for a person who knows HTML, CSS, a tiny bit of Java and enough PHP to be able to edit and amplify existing PHP based content managament devices Images are not a problem either. Novice Question: How to create page with dynamic elements, ie: menu’s & pagelets..

Heya guys, I just now found your forum and I do think it’s great! I’ve learned a whole lot already. I have recently been a webmaster for numerous years, very novice although – and will have been using just HTML plus much more recently CSS. I’ve had some encounter with frames/iframes, tables all that will stuff and am prepared to learn more… I maintain one or two websites currently (all amateurish) and I have been asked to create another one… with this new one I’d like to take an alternative approach. One of the pet peeves with each one of my current websites is when we have a menu change or perhaps something similar (ie: add a different image to the header, new link inside footer, navigation pub, etc… ) I must manually update each and every page… Most websites I see now take over dynamic elements (I think these are similar to pagelets) – (for example, http: //news. bbc. corp. uk/) I’m sure they don’t specify their links in every page and also the little box that says most in-demand stories…, but somehow call up these links on the page.. this is what I would like to learn how … Continue reading →

Dreamweaver ASP and Access

Whats taking all So it is my first thread, but from just what exactly Ive seen a person guys seem reasonably active and useful, which seems to become a rarity these days several all inclusive community forums like this are most often a dying particular breed of dog. So a small bit of background upon me, Im a 30 something web developer with alot to master and I have one final to submit before I receive my AAS in Web page design and Administration. My question is this: Im working away at a site that focuses on selling used automobiles and used automobile parts. Im applying Dreamweaver 5. 5 VARIOUS, along with Entry, in order to help database everything inside supposed " inventory". Now Im having this matter with passing WEBSITE parameters and filtering them between Produce and Model. Ive managed to pull off the basic DB network string and recordset but I end up with options for Toyota Civics, Ford Camrys, and so on.
