Do you make money off your web designs?

Just kind of cuirous how many people have actually made money off their web designing efforts. I know, personally, I started making web pages… for uhh.. effectively, I don’t know why, but I did and that was almost 8 prohibited (give or please take a couple years) along with it’s taken until about recently for me to actually make money off from it, but since I am this indicates business is achieving a lot dependent on the amount effort I placed into it. I think it’s safe to speak about that web style has prevented me personally from flipping burgers down the street… but in no way making me some sort of millionare (although MY PARTNER AND I do turn lower a fair degree of projects). What about you I picked the car option. I think I bragged within the Lotus enough that everyone knows already; -) Really, though… I experienced it early enough to establish myself in the actual field, and I’ve also been smart enough to keep up with ALL fresh technologies that emerged. Client wants to steal my design

Let me explain shortly. A web site hosting company wanted a brand new design. So I said not a problem, you’ll have it in a week or thus. After I showed the form, the client had been very picky, but I taken everything he obtained and changed the form. When I inquired him about this salary he reported that he taught I’m doing the work for free! Could you believe that! Then I said i won’t give my design to your ex, because he’s not necessarily paying. He threatened my home that he’ll stop my web host if I usually give it in order to him. (I use a site hosted there) I said that i won’t give this design again. After several weeks he asked me that will him (for totally free AGAIN) design " his" web-site. Obviously he made something through the jpg-s I bought him and he really wants to put it with his site. What ought to be a do! I have the PSD file and We can prove that the look is mine. a question about Flash maintenance

I have been previously to at least twelve Flash designers’ website and in addition they all roughly say exactly the same thing.. WHY do Pen designers charge hence for doing Thumb maintenance/updating Is it a result of complexity of this Actionscript and animations For my current client a common thing I’m accomplishing is swapping a photo every month, and he quite simply wants the intro cartoon and actionscript functions to remain seated the same. I’m just beginning steps in the great world of webdesign. and my question can be: What can you expect for a salary being some sort of self employed developer, and what is an effective way to get going anyway. I want to start out slowly, making cheap personal web sites, just to receive my feet damp, and take it from there, but I’m not sure how to also find clients. how must someone get started out in web development freelance style I benefit a company these days, but I really would rather do this on my.
