The site sometimes appears here: THEY WOULD. 264 Productions However, the site doesnt load want it does on my computer- Many people have the site procrastinated to the right instead of centered, some people with smaller screens have bottom half not available with a scroll standard added. Is there virtually any quick fix or best option about making it and so the site is viewed centered, and resizes for virtually any window size May really use some help with this issue- Please allow me to know how I’ll get this to return up centered as well as fitting into anyones window! Merci Sam You’ve got a mess on both hands with absolute placing. You may wrap everything which includes a div and present it margin: 0 crash; in the css as well as the appropriate width. You’re not going to get it to resize with screens. It can’t end up being fixed without a lot of work, a lot of to post these. You can view one of my web pages in my collection … Continue reading

Graphics. Done. Now, can it work?

I’m doing a new website (my first in Ten years or so). Concerning determined my design and style and how I’d like the site in order to function. However, I cannot to the life of us find any information on how to make it work began seeing I want. Frankly, I’m not sometimes sure if it depends with my confined knowledge and features. I’m using Dreamweaver (unless anyone features a better suggestion) to make the site, hosted as a result of GoDaddy. In the particular attached file, you can view the layout involves three vertical columns. I’d like the best column (avitar header & gold background) to keep fixed, as I want to add navigation along with other links within the particular gold area. Inside the second (white) column, I would like content–blog posts, photographs, recipes, etc. –to often be scrollable (without truly showing scroll bars, if possible). I’d also like that section to have got a fluid width for compatibility/viewability by a variety of browsers and/or coomputer sceens. The third (small, narrow) section would likely remain fixed such as the first. This is my second problem. I don’t need this layout to acquire a separate backdrop color or image … Continue reading

Floating ad

Good day. I wish to accomplish something on the following forum: http: //tech-squad. org/ I want to begin a Google AdSense skyscraper ad I would like it to be to the left side. It should stay scrolling while using person, and make perfectly with the top end " navigation menu" or whatever you need to call it… the thing that says " Residence, FAQ, etc… " YET here’s the find… only on huge screens… when there’s tons of extra space around the side. How thank you So the actual " tech-squad" carries a site (script) failure MY SPOUSE AND I can’t view their site. But I must say that any floating google ad could well be annoying. That’s my opinion. . Mass media queries and predetermined positioning. But including mlseim said, that will be horribly annoying. OK. If you’re more dedicated it’s horribly frustrating I won’t take action. Yes I’m cognizant of the PHP error. I screwed in place some core data files and I’m having somebody fix it. Lol. I simply thought that placing an ad there would consume some of that empty space.

What pixel width should I use for my site

Now i am curious to listen to responses here, a number of you are makers, some just gadget owners who search furiously. I’m debating getting someone to broaden my website (width with menu) by about 20px, possibly as much as 35px since it can be much thinner as compared with most fixed width websites. It utilizes a " 960 pixel" standard for design and style with 940px for the main content containers and 10px on each side regarding " gutters" for space and some other spillover of effects (like ribbons, and so forth. ) I had no idea until recently even what the " 960gs" grid technique was. I learned design by constructing websites and acquiring how good creative designers architect sites. I certainly sooo want to have the additional potential 30px and move to a 978 as well as 980 pixel thicker, which IMHO may be the widest any web site should go. I say " pertaining to mortals" because individuals with very high stop budgets can play around with increasing sidebars like Facebook (if you start your browser vast enough, you’ll find the sidebar and the idea disappears on scaled-down screens. ) Variable width simply isn’t going to … Continue reading

Hi, I had posted a thread relating to compatibility of the streaming video player to learn in different browsers with the same webpage THIS thread is all about, but fortunately all of us got that settled. However we possess another issue at this point, and I was wondering if there is ANY fix to the situation. Primary note, the web designer is putting with each other the page per se, and I’m doing all of the graphics for it (I have Ps experience in that). This website may be for an entertainer (Impersonator), all of which be shown into a major prospects. I assist the entertainer seeing that his marketing boss, and I’m responsible for this project. This developer we’re working with has experience, but not thorough experience, so I figured I really could ask a more experienced developer hopefully on here to help us out. The theory that I chose to visit with is not really fitting properly into smaller screens, so we need to learn how to get around this. He said which currently the inner portion in the web page certainly will not fit on almost any screens 13 long or smaller (it’s cut off at the … Continue reading

Background Question and Hi :)

Without doubt guys, i’m new to the present forum… and to website development in general lol. Internet marketing creating my initial website, i have a background image, its more of a background banner then anything else. I want the item to stretch over the whole screen reguardless involving size. so my issue is how major shoul the image be with regards to pixels Sorry in the event the solution is painfully obvious but got a chance to start from anywhere you want right thank you guys You probably can’t… at least not in the way you are contemplating it should perform. Invest the an image that may be say, 800 pixels wide and stretch it to protect a 20inch keep track of (1600 pixels broad for example), the image will look like crap. And what if I view you page on my ipad or ipod) Choose whether your site are going to be a fixed thicker, or fluid, where by the individual can squish this down. If it can be fixed, make a person’s banner like 1200 pixels huge and leave the item at that. People with smaller screens will not be able to see the right-hand portion of it. … Continue reading
