User Uploading

I intend to make available to people the capability that will send me big files – so I’d like to see them kid upload to my personal website. How do i do this Exactly how large are most of us talking, and what type of file It’s always best to have some set criteria for the size/file types. I posted a music uploader, on one more forum, http: //codeless. org/showthread. phpt=22& highlight=upload Then again, there are a lot of tutorials covering this specific. For just a straight forward: http: //uk. php. net/features. file-upload SOME SORT OF slightly fancier value: http: //www. tizag. com/phpT/fileupload. php Or even, if you would prefer to create a record upload class, http: //www. phpfreaks. com/tutorials/85/0. php Hope these helps. Post back in case your stuck/output an error, a lot connected with PHP’ers here. That is for a publishing service, so people is upload their flyers, article cards, business greeting cards, etc. from various sizes as much as 20 MB (generally). Your file formats include jpgs, png, tiffs, coming from photoshop, illustrator, writer, etc. I’ll have a look at the links, and when I have just about any questions, I could possibly get back with everyone. … Continue reading

A Little Confused

I’m caught within a dilemma. I designed a website for a salon and it’s now commited to memory. However, the salon had his or her temporary site up while I had been designing the different one. Meanwhile, they decided to be charged a guy for Google search engine marketing on the short lived one. Now the domain name is on additional guy’s server. We would like to access it so I could replace the old website when using the new one. Learn how to do this I don’t understand exactly how this works. YOU. ) Is at this time there an FTP logon and password specific on the hosting space within the other guy’s server that we can use to take over the files via FTP and substitute the old files with the new files If you are, then I will need to ask him for this FTP and password COUPLE OF. ) Or would that login plus password give me entry to his whole equipment (not just the salon website) In which case he would not give this information to me. THREE OR MORE. ) I understand that I can purchase hosting space on another server after which have … Continue reading

My domain name is back !!! www.1728.COM is mine once again.

In lieu of revive this thread http: //www. webdesignforums. net/thre… -im-rebuilding-website-at-www-1728-org. 33643/, I thought he would start a fresh one. Basically, among other suggestions I have my service provider rerouting everything via 1728. com for you to 1728. org. Almost every other suggestions So that you own BOTH. com and also. org If you are, you can get them both pointing in the same server place (your website). You do not need to " reroute"…. but not sure what you mean by which. Yes, WHEN I own both. com and also. org (as nicely as. biz and also about 6 additional " 1728" names). I guess I needs to have stated that most of. com traffic is definitely being transferred by having a 301 redirect to 1728. org. What exactly do you necessarily mean by both could possibly be pointed to similar server location Will be advantage of in which Some engines like google give precedence with. com over. org. A 301 is meant as being a temporary thing and google will follow, but if let in place for an extended time, they will give up indexing both. By pointing each ahost records with the same physical server space, your … Continue reading
