Need help customizing forum please

Greetings all, I’m new to the present forum and I’m not a laptop guru, I am seeking to build a website/forum and need help out with customizing the website, it is the Invision Power Panel. I went to the ADMIN section, considered under " skin color manager" and there We can see the colors we want for all, the background, the writing, the buttons although I simply don’t have learned to implement it. Relating to been trying to get a week and still can’t understand it. First of almost all, there is a really long page that I live through and don’t understand what’s taking, I simply chose the first " History color" as a test but it doesn’t change on that forum. Is there an instruction published or help file anywhere that will teach me how you can customize the forumAny help/links are going to be appreciated, thanks.
