Web Page Design Contest.

Hello there guys (and Girls) I will be planning to have got a little Contest while using kids in the two youth groups that our Youth Organization can be supporting. One group will be 10 to 13years old as well as other is THIRTEEN to 19 years old. I’m hoping that you can help me to place some rules as well as regulations down on web page designs. I can have the Navy League Cadets (10 for you to 13) design their page while the Sea Cadets (13 to be able to 19) design their unique. If you check out their names The thing is that what they should work with. (this is not really advertising) I am getting the kids more interested in their web site (yes this can be for them and their parents basicly) in order to get them included. I have undoubtedly invited them to send in photos for the actual gallery, but not many trickled in, Concerning tried a naval quiz weekly, this worked great for about Six months time, then is fizzed released. Now I need to try this business. Almost any and all tips are welcome. I will be thinking about setting a … Continue reading

help designing tutorial pages

hi there, I hope that this can be a right forum to be able to post in, and that this is possibly appropriate, but I’m kind of serious here. anyone no one can provide any assistance or volunteering with the following, I’d truly appreciate. I’m writing a programming tutorial education, about C++ lisenced users. Now this is planned in the form of fairly long tutorial. but here is definitely my problem: the tutorial could have entire pages that will itself, its unlike a submitted guide or anything. simply just all html web pages. however, I’m shutter, and so to receive the right colouring, images, fonts, or anything else, is impossible unless I’ve someone else assist me. So, what I might really like is someone who, after I finish a chapter, I can just send in the page as a attachment, and you’ll edit that article, add the necessary circumstances to make it glimpse nice, and just send it to me. I’d have it in a standard html form, but you would must add what people think would be needed to make it appear ok. I would certainly add headings, sentences, linebreaks, etc, but with styles or perhaps css etc, I … Continue reading

Using Images instead of ugly Submit Buttons

This is simply not something new, it’s just anything I didn’t realize before and WE spent hours trying to figure out why my Perl script wasn’t working. Thus, this might aid others… and give someone tips to use an impression map with PHP or perhaps Perl, instead of with all the standard HTML impression mapping. I can’t explain it here without a real example of how my first try fails with IE… and how this 2nd example works together both browsers. This is the complete reason and example: http: //www. catpin. com/imagebutton. htm Maybe this is simply not really a " tutorial", but someone might find it useful. –max–.

How do you let your artistically-challenged customers make site updates?

Hi all, Formerly suffering with tinnitus a web designer for a variety of years now. WHEN I also fully program code the sites WHEN I design, minus any vast perception of CGI, PHP, and so on. I do make use of standard HTML (or XHTML), Thumb, and full CSS. I’m pretty up to date on CSS, requirements and all, but may be fairly " old fashioned" otherwise: After i complete a web page, almost everything is. html files in an FTP server, which are editable by FTP or GoLive or whatever, saved and/or published. There’s a lot of integrated Flash, CGI screenplays, etc, as essential, but while I do design the particular Flash, all additional stuff (CGI calendars, site searches, form digesting, shopping carts, etc) I recently download and customize. I take lots of pride in the form aspect above all, my clients will be always happy, and I do think my sites look good and varied. I’ve played webmaster just the summer sites (doing once a month updates for clients) while others are sort with static, rarely-changing websites. But now I have a few clients who want control over constantly editing their unique sites — uploading images, news improvements, … Continue reading

[Request] WordPress Theme that looks like beryl-project.org/

Hello. I have been looking in the wordpress themes in addition to I cant appear to find a wetpaint theme like: http: //www. beryl-project. org/ I don’t think beryl are jogging wordpress but I’d prefer one where that categories are within the top navigation bar and an photo header. Well if you possibly could create a page the way you want your WP theme trend using standard HTML PAGE / CSS, then its not too high of a stretch in order to convert the layout to a WP theme.

Best way to create a news section?

Hello there Guys, I’m working over a few things presently but one analysts requires having your news section. I would want to create it as that the consumer can update the actual news themselves with out needing any help from me or any expertise in coding. I was thinking of a CMS like Joomla but MY PARTNER AND I wasn’t sure if it was possible to just integrate suitable standard html/css internet site or whether the complete website should be design with that CMS. I did come across this particular: http: //bytescout. com/how_to_create_news_section_on_your_website. html but WHEN I wasn’t sure if there is an easier/better/more efficient way to achieve this which is why I became looking at a CMS. Almost any thoughts or ideas Thanks, Is it news that could just change at times, no archive, very little searching Or should you keep every document they write I want to have the alternative to keep every article they would right – but this may of course need to be with a create that allowed these individuals to write articles easily without having any coding encounter which is the most crucial thing. It sounds like you then have a plan If they … Continue reading

The dummies guide to web design

freetips. eu Im curently developing a concept for a site. I have an apparent veiw of what i’d like to see it to come to be. Unfortunatly my web development skills are very poor. I want that can put a table with a page that i will changed on any weekly basis basically ( i don’t know about computer language) does someone need a database or there has to be other options please note: the table will contain statistical facts on football squads. You could revise it manually (as in build a page and revise it), which would probably be the way in the brief run… but overall would take more to update and also create more rule errors. The best way would be to produce a database or perhaps an XML file (database is much easier) and now have it outputted because you update things. there problem i’ve is i cant prepare in code hence changing information which available for you may take seconds to me a lifetime this xlm file internet marketing right in thinking i will up date information simply using software which experts claim will then update your website The only way you’re gonna do that … Continue reading
