A bar or table entirely across the top of a web page

What’s the best way to create upon bar that goes ENTIRELY through the top of the actual page, as within the following example http: //www. easyeverything. com The page border properties happen to be set to 0, using CSS. Code: < style type=" text/css" > entire body margin: 0px < /style> Is all that’s necessary. Then all you need to do is create any table and spot your content inside, at the top with the page. It is usually done using a 100% width absolutely positioned DIV. Code: < html> < entire body style=" padding: 0px; border: 0px; " > < desk style=" width: 100%; " > < tr> < td> CONTENT< /td> < /tr> < /table> < /body> < /html> Unclear how well that ‘body’ CSS I put hard work, I typically type out HTML PAGE attributes for margins, as well as the above. the trend is to check how he/she should it view source should you best friend! Karinne, you need to ignore my messages so that you can post lol. That’s twice in a row I posted what you need and the code along with a few hours later you say something within the answer. my spouse … Continue reading

Ok, I’ve tried every one of those things, but I didn’t make use of the margin: 0 automobile; line. That won’t affect the centering have to it Code: body text-align: middle; background-color: #2C4762; font-family: verdana, arial; font-size:. 8em; . major width: 900px; levels: 100%; border-width: 1px; border-color: #546A80; border-style: strong; background-image: url(.. /images/sky. jpg); background-repeat: no-repeat; backroud-color: #2C4762; Subject to the code, it could possibly. I know this should be inside tutorial section but there are a number cobwebs in that portion of the forum! I just were going to post a uncovered bones navigation together with hover effect for those who don’t know how. I see plenty of navbars that have excessively much code for what they are doing. So this can be pretty srtipped down and can be enhanced, but it really doesn’t need a lot else. Notice how little markup is necessary to render this specific, not very a lot css either. Just copy and paste this whole code in the blank doc. Watch Example Code: <! DOCTYPE html page PUBLIC " -//W3C//DTD XHTML ONE PARTICULAR. 0 Transitional//EN" " http: //www. w3. org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional. dtd" > < html page xmlns=" http: //www. w3. org/1999/xhtml" > < head> < meta http-equiv=" Content-Type" content=" text/html; charset=utf-8" /> < title> Untitled Document< /title> < design type=" text/css" > #navbar background-color: #663399; /* #navbar div is often a wrapper for this ul list*/ height: 30px; #navbar ul border: 0; /* Changing that margin here will require changing the #navbar height to build with the ul*/ #navbar li drift: left; /* This will likely put the li’s in … Continue reading

Help With Text Turning Italic

Hi My personal background in webdesign is actually basic. Enough to do by myself companies websites gradually and mostly personal taught so practically nothing fancy. I need to find out how to stop the text upon my webpages by turning italic after clicking the link. In other thoughts, the text is normal if your page is displayed for once. Once one of the links are clicked, the next time that page is displayed, that same link is currently in italics. I had a similar difficulty with underlines appearing for the link after is definitely was clicked, We were able to remedy that problem after installing this in the head of your webpage. < style type=" text/css" > <! — the text-decoration: none; –> < /style> Is there something similar just for this italics issue Many thanks for you support. TM2012 There have to be a css rule somewhere for that " a: visited" placed to italic. If you’re definitely not experienced enough to get it then publish a link plus we can have a look. I seached online and found this but it seemed to do the job – virtually any thoughts < script type=" text/javascript" > oldTextAry = different … Continue reading
