one table row doesn’t show up in IE or Opera

I’m designing a site, and everything seems to figureout fine with te exception of a very important factor – I’ve bought a table of which works in Firefox, Netscape, plus Mozilla, but one line disappears in IE and Opera – the actual row with JPGs in the container. Everything else stays identical. I’ve posted the code for this below if any one has any ideas. Some of seems somewhat clumsy and hacked in my opinion, but I just simply did what I really could to get it to seem the way I need to. This is my first attempt at a website, consequently please pardon any kind of inelegant coding, and so forth, and feel free of charge to suggest far better alternatives. Additionally, one other issue. The W3C validator states I can’t use leftmargin, topmargin, etc as found below – is really a challenge, or can WE ignore it < shape bgcolor=" #bcbc85" leftmargin=" 0" topmargin=" 0" marginwidth=" 0" marginheight=" 0" > bless you, Andrew Code: < table border=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" width=" 100%" > < tr> < td colspan=" 7" > < img src=" beige-bar-2×2. gif" width=" 100%" height=" 15" border=" 0" > < /td> < … Continue reading

Is there a site for nice color schemes?

I have layouts, just dont own color schemes… just about any sites http: //www. colorschemer. com/online. html Although I propose learning more about color generally speaking… color scheme generators can only present you with a formulated loook… can’t present you with that extra edge given at a custom scheme, let alone the different feelings invoked from several colors… (whens a final time you noticed a mcdonalds advertising in dull greys and blues ) Gives thanks man OMG!!! They stole the color table script (the color table over the bottom)!!! What must i do! With the record… The script: Code: functionality DrawPalette() var outside, middle, inner=255; insurance coverage. write(‘< div ID=" palette" > ‘); insurance coverage. write(‘< table cellpadding=0 cellspacing=1 border=0 bgcolor=" #000000" > ‘); insurance coverage. write(‘< tr> ‘); for (outer = 255; outside > = 0; outer-=51) for (middle = 255; center > = 0; middle-=51) for (inner = 255; intrinsic > = 0; inner-=51) tR=HEXCodes255 — outer; tG=HEXCodes255 — middle; tB=HEXCodes255 — inner; document. write(‘< td height=" 11" width=" 11" bgcolor=" #’+tR+tG+tB+’" > < a new href=" #" onClick=" ChangeColors(‘+(255 — outer)+’, ‘+(255 — middle)+’, ‘+(255 — inner)+’); return phony; " > < img src=" obvious. gif" border=" … Continue reading

Howdy! We have just joined this kind of community, and i have to say that i’ve already learn a large amount. On the list of thing i learned was when using the slice tool for making websites. So inpired, i created a background impression to slice afterwards. but I possess a question: so, so picture the following: We have a header, with the navigation bar ( each " button" shall be sliced), but then i’ll possess a content area. I have to say for reference that it’s just a band web web site, so you realize the drill: news flash, audio, pics, for example. so, so what i would like is all that’s within the content area features a transparent background to ensure we can notice the image behind(being this image a part(slice) of the website image. I hope you understood this weak english, and thart you can help me about this. If an individual make the image your " background image", anything everyone place on your site will go over the top. Text will look as if float over that background image. In the event you place any images, it will include the background until you have any " … Continue reading
