bad jpg image quality after upload

I made such a nice template with regard to my website that can have portions with text encased inside a solid color border. I made the actual border a jpg (it’s expensive, it has being jpg.. ) and my problem usually it looks incredible on my computer system but after POST upload it for the website the coloration looks darker and there’s tiny little spots everywhere in the image making it appear to be it’s really awful quality. (I generally save the jpg at 100% quality. ) Does any person know why this specific happens or how We can fix it * I apply geocities as my own website host and pagebuilder to put it all with each other. First post: Charset issue – suspected server problem affecting web pages

About my server (run because of the wonderful folk with Media Temple) that will serves my web page Pixelsurgeon (which is currently undergoing a redesign) the DefaultCharset in the primary httpd. conf is actually ISO-8859-1, but I’m wondering if it needs to be set to UTF-8. There are a few double-byte characters (Japanese, China, Korean) and several accented characters and several Polish. Im working on a page for the department in the school district, plus they want to fit graphics up intended for download so professors can download and print them. How would I go about doing this I tryed simply directly linking the folder that will be downloaded, after that uploaded it. But when you go to the web-site and click the generic " please click here to download" copy, it just offers me the ol’ page can not be displayed page… Make didnt know if doing it that way could work or definitely not, ive done that with word files and such just before. virtually any ideas or aid Link for the image itself and now have them right press > Save While… Or put it in a zip file.
