How do you do that: vintage: The best technique I’ve found is to use a mix of a single server-side include along with a session variable, i always tie into the unique identifier on the database. The pseudo-code would be something like this kind of: — Site determines session variable to check out if user can be logged in. — in the event user is logged with, he/she can log onto the site — if user is not logged in, he/she is redirected into a login page — if customer attempts to sign in and match is found in database, unique identifier is retrieved and composed to session variable Certainly, the exact syntax will depend on your programming dialect, but you have the idea. Uhm yes! But i’m not thinking about doing a entire PHP programming just for this. Dreamweaver MX localhost problem??

We are having a challenge getting IIS in order to properly map my own web root. I’m using DWMX and possess never had this challenge beofre. I’ve always used (on similar machine) F: /SITES/the site for the reason that local storage area after which it C: /localhost/Webs/the site for the reason that testing server. the positioning = the name belonging to the current project (e. he. Car Company). While i preview the web site from dreamweaver, IE/IIS attempts to look for the site while in the /localhost/ directory Besides the /localhost/SITES/car organization. Everthing will be configured properly with DWMX. If I check out http: //localhost/SITES/trace. aspx, the page runs without any problems — hence the server end would seem ok. We can even get that will http: //localhost/SITES/Car Company/index. aspx but none from the graphics load. Easily hover the mouse with the graphics quickly, I see from the status bar how the URL is /localhost/images/car1. gif As an alternative to /localhost/SITES/images/car1. gif. For some reason the url is usually leaving out that " second level" with mapping. I’ve been using DWMX for a little bit and I’ve never had this challenge before. Intended for whatever it’s worthy of, this is … Continue reading

I doubt may well work though… Without a doubt, a script engine can access files outside the fundamental tree of your webblog. MY PARTNER AND I. e, if you have files you would like to include in a new script, or files you should protect outside URL-referance, you possibly can present access by script. The actual server itself, is unable to present files outside the web-root, nevertheless your script can easily retrieve them, and ‘serve’ them for the server!

Have pasted a link inside the header of this index page, nevertheless still no chance. Does anyone find out the code MY PARTNER AND I should use give us a link to your site (with your favicon that’s purported to show). JUST ONE. Make sure the file is called and is with your web root as well as being an actual ICO file generated by a good icon maker software (GIF, PNG, and many others, don’t work for everyone browsers). TWO. Add this line for the < head> of the HTML: The matter is that you’d probably visited as well as multiple times prior to uploaded the favicon, and so the cache does certainly not include it.
