cant get an editable region to work…

i’m sure the title makes out as only cant get this simplist of what you should work but i’m less than that bad. thus i guess my partner and i should give a few background info the following, I created a good image in photoshop of how i desired the webpage to check and exported this into fireworks in which i sliced the particular image up into regions i desired for each graphic and exported individuals images into dreamweaver to be a single. htm page (it created every one of the seperate images far too but i suppose you guys did this 1000 times). so the web site layout looks good everything is where its said to be i saved that page as a. dwt template file after which you can though ohhh yeah i want to add a good editable region for the content area so i can create text/images ect so i click the image within dreamweavers design watch and insert a great editable region which will shifts every image away from place and the particular editable region is the completely wrong place. so i’m simply just wondering if any person here could instruction me through getting this … Continue reading →

IE8 thinks he’s IE6

Hello, I know this isn’t exactley a Web development question, more the browser question, but maybe someone will help me. I’ve recentley set up IE8 (upgrading out of IE6) and IE8 is what shows while in the Help> About info, but using IE8 I find the following or some thing simular from sites that will no longer support IE6: Incompatible internet browser alert Sorry but we will not support Internet Explorer 6TH. Please download and use a more up-to day browser: World wide web Explorer 8 Mozilla Firefox Search engine Chrome Opera. Every ideas Brian Sounds like IE8’s if it is compatible mode is started, and for just one reason or a different it thinks it needs to use the idea on that internet site. Hello there I’ve upgraded by IE6 to IE8 however I’m still getting Incompatible internet browser alert Sorry but we never support Internet Explorer A FEW. Youtube Help!!

There’s no doubt that i just require better software. Ive certainly not made a online video media before and i tried it away today and my personal video looks horrible. I made a vide for just a site im taking care of at B. B-Dot Platinum World wide web Technologies Your video: YouTube – Web design schools Facebook Like Button Each of the transitions are messed in place and i cant get any sound… WTF what type of media did you upload i’ve only ever employed mp4 and have no trouble. if it gets to be to a lot, you could often embed it being an mp4. all surfers recognize it. Your output format is actually. flv. I tried other formats but youtube will not accept. I will try this format. Do you know of good converting software in this. yeah but i use ubuntu-studio/linux Try Handbrake – that can encode into mp4.

Auto adding to picture gallery

We’ve scoured the world wide web for answers regarding auto adding into a picture gallery without using php with very little luck. I am very savvy when it comes to designing sites (not an experienced guitarist web designer) but this has just simply got me. Here it’s……….. My organization is designing a website for any talent agent where they want about 250 customers on their books each needing a headshot of showing in a photo gallery, separated towards 3 areas with regard to Males, Females and USA Based. Each client is known for a folder that belongs to them where info like resumes shall be shown independent page. I aim for one folder per 3 areas named ‘Headshots’ where I’ll put all the thumbnails of showing in the gallery. I also aim for these thumbnails to get " auto added" towards the site & and also to " auto alphabetise" in each page. Currently, each viewable html page can have the thumbnails within a 5 x 6 size grid (30 customers per page) also with their names as text towards right of your photo.
