Hello there, Does anyone discover how to go about organising a GUI so that a website consumer can change items like prices, etc on their unique Just something simple that the customer with no familiarity with HTML can wood into and switch their info regularly. Re-design using templates .. or SSI

I recently inherited a site that is developed using eyeglass frames. I’m going to lose frames.. so by using 400 html records, would it possibly be better to re-design your website using templates.. or server-side includes. I don’t see the templated information being changed too often. Explanations welcome.. I’m not too experienced with SSI’s Gives thanks! Jayell hmm i do not know Jayell, templates and SSI may not be mutually exclusive; typically templates would employ SSI. If you have that lots of pages I would certainly go for any SSI functionality… you’ll probably decide to look into using CSS div layers to position your own various elements for the page, in order to generate the page work from a similar way towards the existing frames features. As for the SSI itself feel free to use various technologies to complete it; php, or shtml or (if you are on Windows servers) asp. Many options, whats good?

Hi guys, I like i found the following board alot far sooner, but at least i did.. My business is pretty much a ameture designer. When my band formed lots of years back, we were needing a site. Being broke musicians, all of us had limmitted alternatives. A friend gave me a copy regarding his dreamweaver and i started messing all over. I made an affiliate site w/ dreamweaver, nothing special which will served its purpose for a while. Then i discovered of php nuke, so i fitted it and already been fussing with obstructions and modules for a while now. I need above what is obtainable from php nuke. I recently recently looked on Xoops, and Mambo. Now im totally stumped as to what direction to go. What i need is really a site with all the current stuff a band could need. I need a mailing record form so men and women can add themselves on the mailing list, an establishment to post announcement, a photo gallery, a calander or some method to display upcoming shows, a message panel, mp3 player and so on.
