image’s name is on the image

Hi, I’m designing an affiliate site using Photoshop along with SiteGrinder. It’s for by myself company. I figure by working this way, I will get the venture done, and know from what SG builds. Anyway, I just added in an image for the live site, fine-tuned it’s position, and so on., but the picture’s brand, daves-limo, is in tiny black print around the picture. Not popping-up, simply there. How did I do that, and how must i change it As well, I was reading the directory " don’ts" ahead of I posted. My own site’s background is definitely black. If WHEN I shouldn’t use bright text on ebony, what would everyone suggest Uniform bright text boxes to hold black text I will try it and see what it seems like. Gives thanks. How about implementing PHP GD to actually put text directly for the photo… as section of the image by itself (like a watermark) Present us a link to your site, together with the photo it is in place and I’ll explain to you an example. I’m sorry. I think WE phrased my question wrong. I’m new to the forum and also new to doing any website design. The … Continue reading

Editing content without messing things up…

Hi there, I’m relatively new to website development, getting in to help it designing a niche site for a pal. There are about 15 pages into the site in most of, styled with external css style sheets, nothing fancy, quite simply text with photographs. But, we wanted my friend to be able to make changes towards text, including maybe some embellishments (bolding etc) along with headers, but without them having to know html (other than, say paragraph, h1, h2 etc). The initial attempt involved getting rid of the text areas as plain text message files, and then topping and tailing these considering the relevant html parts using simple php pieces of software. The theory ended up being that these text files could possibly be edited in notepad or even any simple text editor and the whole site then re-built because of the php scripts. But – this couldn’t work. We recommended more " wysiwyg-ness" than the plain text data gave. So, we tried a simple wysiwyg editor (CoffeeCup as it happens) to update the. html information. Several issues right here: any changes made weren’t reflected in the actual plain text files – so the php system in order to " … Continue reading

Activating a Web Camera within a Site

Hello, Im a student working on a project which will be based on line. It includes your grid of movies, all of people today using their computers. I want to feature the person that visits your website, perhaps in the center of the grid. Perhaps there is any way to try and do this One example is, if a person features a web camera or a integrated iSight camera (mac), she or he will be asked when they want to activate their camera to be in a grid with most of these other videos. I dont need to take any of this video for by myself, I just want the positioning to be involved and interesting. My project is types of about how most people build community on the net while atomizing ourselves as well, as people can even be alone when when using the computer, etc. Anyone understand how to do this Anything by any means would be truly appreciated!!! What amount of this don’t you already have Have you got a website with any webcams previously on it that marilyn and i can see Or is a project you merely have in your head I have numerous videos, … Continue reading

Easy rounded corners…well maybe

MY PARTNER AND I ran across this url that creates spherical corners and makes use of a copy plus paste thing. I make my but this could possibly be an option if you don’t know exactly how. I tried the item and tested in FF2 and IE7 and works in both. I don’t learn about other browsers when I didn’t sense like major examining or anything. Just thought I’d pass it along because a number of people ask about circular corner boxes. www. curvycorners. net should this too. Ya find out, it just seems easier, less computer code, and cross browser compatible to generate these with top rated, middle and bottom images in lieu of using js along with complicated code (complicated in my opinion anyway). I’m about to stick with by myself! Although Spiffy proverbial box was pretty simple. Moz and Safari assist you to create curved factors with CSS solely http: //www. css3. info/preview/rounded-border/ Great stuff! Only when IE would jump on this phone! HTML: < div id=" roundedContainer" > < div class=" roundTop" > < img src=" topLeftCorner. gif" class=" corner" /> < /div> <! –Content will go here–> < div class=" roundBottom" > < img src=" … Continue reading
