uploading a Frontpage website

We are about to utilize 1and1 to web host my website. Easily designed the entire site in Frontpage, and linked all the clickable stuff, what will I must do once I upload as well as Will I can relink everything Or should it be odne automatically for me Everything requires been done on auto-pilot using relative hyperlinks. However, you may have to check that the many links don’t go to the files on your harddrive compared with just relative links towards files – We’ve never used Frontpage in advance of, but I are aware that that problem can certainly occur with Dreamweaver sometimes (like when you start creating as well as without saving it to be a site first that has a local root folder). But I guess you may really find out when you finally upload the site on the web (or you can test looking in your source code). effectively, I started post started building the whole thing as the " New Website" inside frontpage.. I notice from the code, some information are referenced along with C: \ from the name, and some simply develop the last few service nmes (the diretories following website folder…. ). Is that … Continue reading

Site Navigation [Footer] how many links?

Hi people of d’forum! Ive searched the forum but wasnt succesful! Quick question: Is there a regulation for how countless internal page links make sure you put at the end of your web-site (for navigation) If you see the 2 example jpgs (as working offline) normally the one has a link to each of the pages on coursesmart im building, the second has just the leading sections. Im certainly not any expert but i really believe that the first will be better for my SEO in this site (Oh here’s i right in saying this can be black do not lik SEO as i end up with one link for you to each page, and each link is always that pages title) What does one think Is this too busy What could you do Expectation your expertise can guide me! Cheers, Edd. 2nd one way too busy, i would complement the 1st. look neater plus much more professional. 2nd seems like a badly designed page with countless link as humanly possible 1st one to me: thumbsup: Cheers Karloff! I do agree which the second is that will busy! How many could you be tempted to put end of it of … Continue reading

Design Query – Your Opinions on This?

Fine so I’m assuming this is the right place for this… Attached is usually a screenshot of a typical page of a website I’m designing. Currently, does anybody else think that the ‘flatness’ from the top makes it look a lttle bit stupid Or type of, unfinished Like commonly there’s a bill or a logo above the key text but because the main text begins immediately and those two things shabby each side it types of looks a bit odd Does anybody like it Or agree by using me Thoughts Thanks a ton Yeah I think something is required to be there even if its merely a thin red tier or something, but I quite including the simplicity of everything, i’d have to view the site inside the flesh to actually know but at times very clean and simple sites sites can work effectively Very clean design… it takes minimalism too much, in my opinion. I really like it, I believe it looks genuinely nice. But I do agree that a red line on the top could appear cool, or maybe lines this way: ///////// going throughout the top… Very boring imo Okay thanks but I was only asking for … Continue reading

editplus2 auto-complete

relating to a question, because i tough to figure it out! I’ve discovered that EditPlus2 features an auto-complete feature. I think therefore it will " auto-complete" just like DreamWeaver does. Is that this correct If so, how do we activate it! I tough to get it working! I have been using EditPlus for a few months and I never think the autocomplete works a similar way it does in Dreamweaver. I do believe the autocomplete will certainly add the closing tag as soon as you put the around the opening tag. Possible be wrong, it wouldn’t be once. Yes, i am aware it won’t work that well, but i’m still looking for out if allow me to have some form of auto-complete feature, aside from just closing the actual tags!

1st Site and I need some advise…

Hi all, Well I have finally started my first page using photoshop for that layout. I was wondering how I can turn the text I’ve into a hyperlink Or only am doing that wrong can another person tell me the way to do it. My business is not asking for this to be evaluated on how very good (or rather how bad) it can be, just some strategies. This is just a personal page for family to see pictures and for me to tinker by using. You can perspective it at: www. theneumanplace. com Thanks Bob Well… This are going to be an adventure for you personally. It’s good to begin somewhere, but here’s where you will go… 1) Your site will never be one big photograph, but a bunch of smaller images. Cut into sections making use of CSS (Cascade Fashion Sheets)… which may be a tool for HTML (CSS must be used for layout and also positioning). 2) You will learn HTML, CSS and get tutorials and examples on the internet. 3) For you to answer your issue, your buttons are going to be one blank graphic with no word on them. Then you definitely use CSS in … Continue reading

Directories..

Basically have one web-site in my main directory (prblic_html) plus a second site in a sub directory (public_html/subdir), along with the sub directory has a domain name, will that web site be crawled by google as if its part of the primary website Should they will be seperated somehow Im confused if I should deny access to the sub submission site in my main sites robots. txt archive or not. There’s no doubt that I want these both ranked seperatly, unless it will be better together Your engine won’t recognize your subdomain we know; it can’t pick it up on its personal. A complicated answer: I don’t think search engines could dig your primary domain, attempt to find all CNAME documents, and then index those results. If it lets you do, then that’s poor given some subdomains here really should not be indexed.

A buddy of mine only opened his private computer shop within town and he / she hired me as his developer, and were racking your brains on what is a fantastic price to charge into a web site. Right now I still have a job updating a web site for the chamber involving commerce in my area and it has the a 50 page site but is not everything needs modified. And exactly what some good policies to acquire for a commencing business as well as the guy im operating says hes about to take 30% with what I make understanding that seems like a great afful lot. I know I’ve found a great deal of great answers about there via google. Seen a great deal of Google hits, way too. I would never have the funds for access to it, though. I might get from other web developers for free via various sources, obviously including WDF. Yep, it seems fine, though having to repay to see replies to threads annoy the heck outta me personally. That’s the thing, I see them all right, and I don’t pay at all.
