800×600
I became doing a webdesign course and they said i should cater just for this resolution… now honestly besides really poor locations who uses the following screen resolution. You will get PC’s for 190 that run’s rather well and show 1024×768. I am building my first site and it is going to be a web development site. How important could it be really to appeal for 800×600 resolution in this day and age In my estimation, very important. Make sure you, however, consider what audience your website is looking with. You say it will be a ‘web design and style site’, but what exactly do you mean by this is it focusing exclusively on coding, artwork or another area There are several ‘noob’s’ to website design that may definitely on 800*600, and even Need to use 800*600 at times at school. Offering Free Email Accounts
Hi there, new to the forum. Already found a lot of useful info. I’m going being running a website included in a print publication and i would like to offer my advertisers a free of charge email account on the site. (advertisermagazine. com) This could be perfect for my method of advertisers as most of them don’t presently have an email bill, could use just one, and would benifit from it being part of this specific website. I became wondering if any individual knew how I really could go about repeating this either maybe together with some software i possibly could buy, or a new hosting company, or maybe a person on here that does this work The following is the tough element: (1)The accounts must be as simple to use as, say, yahoo mail (2) this advertiser must be capable to set it up and manage them himself (3) everything must be in spanish. (4) it ought to look seamlessly like section of the other website I know it’s lots of detail, but I’m just trying to find maybe a general direction to get lead to result in i’m totaly lost for this one. I googled it for a … Continue reading

Good web design magazine
What is a good (uk) web site design magazine I have acquired a few and so they seem kinda connected with stupid. IE, " How to use CSS throughout dreamweaver today!!! " along with such stuff. I am definitely not great and still have many learn but there’s no doubt that i am recent those publications which have been aimed for those who have never created websites before and might like to do so in their own spare time. Basically I do not really want a magazine containing simple tutorials. Rather far more topics relating to website design, good design, poor design, current styles, future technologys and so forth. What would you lot read Remember they should be sold within the uk Thanks I utilized to read ‘Web Websites Made Easy’, ; however , progressed to ‘WebDesigner’ that is slightly more advanced. mmmm… ok cheers I need to say that do seem impressive. I despise reading stuff this makes me feel like Relating to recently mastered the capability to read or am studying SITTING level 3 is usually. Net any fine i at ease with. Net, its ok although not to my tastes. It offers that will much news and … Continue reading

discussion about Flash, web design AND the mobile phone industry
Exactly where do we easily fit into this industry Or is it primarily some people will went to school to find out C++ etc . Most mobile handsets today have snazzy interfaces and get animation with movements graphics involved but is very just programmed animation beyond Flash/Actionscript I am in a period of career researching.. my minor degree shall be in marketing, but I’d like to focus on a career path that goes above (yet is related) to the type of work I can now: Flash design, HTML web pages, and CSS coming up with. So, I’m thinking about the mobile style industry, which to my knowledge has established applications and games for mobiles. I was prompted to research the actual mobile industry because of the following article: http: //www. sfgate. com/cgi-bin/artic… Up Silicon Valley should go Mobile& sn=001& sc=1000 Finally, would taking training in XML propel me in the right direction Many thanks.

What’s Everyone Got Against Tables???
I can remember a while back while i asked what has been so bad regarding using frames, I was given many compelling reasons why they should be avoided. Flash forward many years later and now out of the blue I’m checking out and about the Open Source Web design, and it amounts to just almost every web site is bragging about how exactly they built the full thing without tables. No tables Exactly what is the reasoning behind which The reasons Better alternatives in div’s, spans, absolute positioning, and CSS. Fact is we were holding designed to present tabular data, not tailored for designing websites. However as a developer you should utilize what you look is needed given that your client won’t object. As an illustration I have not used tables within a while, but used these to outputdata retrieved at a database. Hope this helps Most definately helps, thanks. Now all that remains is designed for me to evaluate how those websites practice it with the divs and spans and total positioning and css. absolute positioning will last somewhat abstract layouts. If all you would like is a SEVERAL x 2 box layout, use platforms. It’s basically the suitable … Continue reading

Banner ad software
Does anyone out there work with Ban Man Pro We’re getting hired to work to date (we think) however the documentation isn’t quite detailed. Particularly regarding the " weighting" procedure. Ban Man’s support database can be quite thin on the actual ad weights : all concept and no description of true impact. Maybe we don’t possess enough stuff circulating, but the ‘weight’ stats we’re getting at ads just never make sense and we can’t figure out how to manipulate them. If anyone offers any insight I would like to hear that – Ban man’s documentation isn’t the most thorough.
