Because of coporate downsizing, My business is going independent. My business is a Web Designer/Programmer. Can there be a site i can goto to download free as well as fairly inexpensive authorized forms I’m around Illinois if which makes a distinction. Thanks beforehand for the aid. Abyss Web Server – localhost?

Maybe you have noticed my submit on Abyss Web Server but today I’m having reactions to it! I mount it and just about all, run setup. exe, just exactly what I did continue time. I go configured to run PHP Scripts and also my site (2Monkey Studios) is C: \Abyss Internet Server\htdocs\2monkey. Now here’s the issue. The web node is running and turned on e. t. c. Then I go Microsoft Internet Explorer in addition to type: http: //localhost/2monkey/home. htm Now on this old server (I must uninstall my previous edition of Abyss and re-install) this will have worked, but with this one, I find page not identified. Why It has taken me a while to explain, but I am hoping you get me personally now. Please can you help. Having problem uploading to remote site on Dreamweaver MX, help plz!!!

Hi there I have just started employing Dreamweaver MX plus am experiencing a number of problems, I was curious about if somebody when using the know-how could support me out. Anyhow, I am having difficulty uploading my documents. My web space may be registered. Now the challenge is that about my remote site We’ve three folders, htdocs logfiles along with private now I’m sure that for me to evaluate any pages that I can put them on the htdocs folder, however, when I decide on the file that we want to upload I endeavor to drag it on the htdocs folder or even press the fit button, but for reasons uknown the files ends up in the private folder, when I try and go online I dont get access to the page we saved. Another thing is that how one can delete files out of my remote web-site, lets say I produce complete rooster-up and want to delete all data, how can MY PARTNER AND I refresh my completely site You need to someone help us!!!!! Convert templates into JPEG thumbnails

I have a handful of web site web themes saved as html files (index. htm) that we want to make thumbnails away from. How can I do doing this Thanks Vic I think the most effective way is to open in inside a browser, and then receive a screen shot of the current window (Alt + Offline Screen button), and then showing it to theme in your preferred image editing application. yeah that’s what I have been doing, thought there is likely to be a quicker technique. Thanks a lot IMHO, If necessary good size regarding thumbnails is 160 pixels large. That way ones image thumbnails will be easily recognizable. A quick way should be to write a script of which takes screen captures and outputs cropped/resized photographs. That is a huge time waster in order to write though. Thus, I recommend sticking to the traditional methods of getting thumbnails. There are programs that have screenshots automaticly plus save them. You can crop the area on the screen you should capture. Try looking on the search engines for " display screen capture"

Well I’d like to create a site to showcase stuff that we have designed pertaining to in school and just side projects which i have done. Now I am aware what the content might be but I was having trouble settling using a theme or array for my internet site. I want some thing different and creative but at the same time I want it to take a look professional. I guess We are just looking for inspiration. Any concepts What form of stuff did people design (be specific) Well thus far the things that we have had by far the most fun designing are logos, posters, publication spreads, ads mostly things such as that. Selling Links on website

I have been previously toying with the idea of selling text hyperlinks on my web site. The idea usually someone pays one to link to their website for any set period (usually some sort of month). I’ve found quite a few websites where We can " auction" the links, so marketing the spaces shouldn’t be too much of the problem. Even so, I want to determine what the thoughts about this are in basic. On some sites, there are doomsday-type safety measures that Google can block () the actual pages’ PR status. Any comments about this is appreciated — specially since I never have seen anything about it on WDF. Kind regards! The whole concept of " selling" buttons is nothing brand new. It’s the just like any banner advertising or Google AdSense url or anything of this nature. I’m unclear what warnings you will be " seeing", but as your spider-based search engine it could be somewhat difficult for Google to penalize a web site for selling reported links unless it was done in a " link-farm-style" scenario where sites put up for sale their links at a links page and go following that. I’m unclear what I should remain faithful to designing my internet websites on. Any suggestions And what’s the best way to undertake repearing elements with each page including navigation bars.
