Does anyone still…

code their particular websites I’ve been from the game a although, since about JULY 2004. Starting to go back into things all over again, and get caught back up on everything that may be happened between at this point & then and WE keep noticing that every website I discover, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP etc short training sites are just about all made from some type of CMS like Live journal or Joomla or even equivalent. Does anybody still code their particular websites or has that craft evolved into downloading and looking to extend your favourite CMS

I code my very own, generally speaking.

Evaluate it this means: Google, eBay and Amazon don’t use off-the-shelf CMSes. The reason why would anyone serious not follow fit

I code my very own, I don’t think We’d ever go purely to somewhat of a CMS.

: cigarette smoker: i’m currently building a CMS. really does that count

Good to understand. Just kinda seems overwhelming to my advice.

No. Every website I have ever created because I started utilizing server side encoding and backend directories was a CMS regarding some sort, with all sorts of dynamic content invention, eliminating redundancy or the need to code a number of tasks altogether. I do believe that’s wonderful. I can’t stand the whole cereal bar cutter idea while of being competent to download a CMS & just put it to use to whatever its you’re trying to try and do. Might be convenient nevertheless it definitely seems ‘lacking’ all round.

Just wondering when everybody had chosen to travel with the straightforward approach or in case people still coded their own solutions anymore.

Thanks to the comments.

mostly, no. thats why we are building a cms. people just don’t desire to buy car parts and develop a car anymore, or pay other people to. people are people and so they want on the net as easily as likely to a car lot and purchasing a car. i am actually building favored, most user friendly web page manager(at least thats exactly what i’m calling them for now). a kid could build a site in 2 minutes on the time of buy. no exaggeration. going to advertise options and theme packs just like the options when purchasing a car.

Hooray intended for Dorky! I’m gonna adjust my name to La-Z-Girl and buy his system

Zero, really – find his other posts – it sounds very good – and I know he’ll put it out there here first…
