Making Web Pages load faster?

One page on our site contains a comprehensive amount of word. How can WHEN I format my code so that the page loads faster And may I do the identical with images

You can decrease the dimensions of images with a higher compression quote, but this means lower quality. As for text, you can’t help it become any smaller.

Im confused if I understand what precisely you mean, could you post a connection to said page please, so I will take a ganders average joe.

You have a couple of options in ones situatuion:

– Look into stuff like mod_gzip to get apache or gzip compression setting through php.
– Split the actual page into 2 or 3 logical sections.
– If you work with tables, make sure that your tables are accordingly nested, etc. Incorrect tables can dramatically add to the load time.

and so forth.

Also look into using CSS to help format your textual content. W3Schools is an excellent place to discover CSS.

Or if you be insane, write a viewer for instance Deviantart. com accustomed to have – along with transfer only that essentials

If you ever slice your photographs the page will load faster as well.

there’s no doubt that thats the most suitable choice

I think this will always be the key. Nested tables are already load intensive, improperly nested tables are worse, I see the idea often. Just a further problem with stand based layouts. It can find hard to stick to those tags when you are handcoding them, and wysiwyg writers like dreamweaver can really start to mess things up particularly when you spend your whole time in layout view adding, cutting out and moving dining tables and cells around alot.

I agree that tables might be load-intensive if used or coded inappropriately… But separate/individual tables with width/border attributes do load more quickly than 1 large one with nested furniture.

Websites load quicker working with no tables. My website loads about 50% quicker given that is has very little tables, purely DIVs when compared with it did end in.

If you make certain that your website complies for the xHTML 1. 1 Specification, then the idea should load reasonably fast, as the idea eliminates much extra and all improper coding..

Owning your CSS document external also facilitates pages load your fraction faster, as it will be same file used repeatedly.

*****note: slicing is solely good if u understand how to do it. I can make you documents load slower if u have no idea wat ur accomplishing. *****

good slicing can be done in Macromedia fireworks 3 and up. Pant-shop-pro is in addition good(so i heard).
