Problem with tables in Netscape 4.7

Hello to all or any. Hopefully someone here can help me out with my problem. Relating to a page that I’m doing that won’t display correctly within the older versions of Netscape. I remember jogging into this problem a couple of years back and looking for way around that, but I’d want to see if there’s an easy method. The issue is this… Relating to a layout that we sliced and exported and so it’s all from a table. The table offers some cells with background images as well as some without. All the particular cells have pixel dimesions. What Netscape (4. 76) is doing is blowing that table appart along with adding columns as well as shifting the written content around. Now, I remember finding something on the net about placing (background=" " ) inside TD tag for that cells that have zero background image, which fixed the issue back then. Is that the correct route to consider to fix this Virtually any input is considerably appreciated. Thanks to your time! have a shot at putting a < br> immediately after every < img> as well as see what which does. In addition, if you post a link to … Continue reading

liquid design & full screen text

Simply just wondering what various other design gurus think of using liquid design and having to deal with 1600×1200+ monitors in which make text span throughout the whole screen. Popular wisdom on the web design says that text should not span more compared to 4" wide from a column. Too difficult to read. I tend make use of liquid design on the majority of my sites because i’m keen on being able to take advantage of the whole screen. Sad to say, though, liquid design expresses that text will expand to fit the user’s filter, meaning you have got HUGE blocks regarding text that’s hard to read. Tips on how to guys work close to this Just style for 800×600 or perhaps 1024×768 and hope that individuals using 1600×1200 get good eyes Or perhaps there is some trick to making text break into multiple copy under higher file sizes I guess you may do this having js… Views I havent discovered this is generally there a link so i could read about this specific lol… Study up here: http: //www. webdesignforums. net/thread7769. html There’s a better way w/ js in making it 100% until x quantity of pixels have been … Continue reading

Privacy Statements & Terms of Conditions

Howdy, Can anyone tell me if these kinds of website sections are commonly written before the designing of a new website or after I’m gonna be submitting a new mock up associated with my e-commerce web-site (my first) to your web designer soon and was wondering in what get to proceed. Will be the contents of Privacy Statements impacted by how a internet site functions and, therefore, follow the creation in the site I was about to use an internet Privacy Policy generator but some of the questions in the form suggested Privacy Phrases are compiled after an affiliate site is created. Do site designers commonly handle most of these two sections when building a website for someone, or is the fact that extra Thank U. : vintage: The actual content from the site can be changed through the design/devolpement process, IMO. Certainly the more variations you send in your web designer, the longer it will eventually take him/her as well as the more they could charge you (and greater frustrated they can get). The final choice on changes ought to be ironed out in your designer. So far as Privacy Policies and the like go, your designer often have … Continue reading
