liquid design & full screen text

Simply just wondering what various other design gurus think of using liquid design and having to deal with 1600×1200+ monitors in which make text span throughout the whole screen. Popular wisdom on the web design says that text should not span more compared to 4" wide from a column. Too difficult to read. I tend make use of liquid design on the majority of my sites because i’m keen on being able to take advantage of the whole screen. Sad to say, though, liquid design expresses that text will expand to fit the user’s filter, meaning you have got HUGE blocks regarding text that’s hard to read. Tips on how to guys work close to this Just style for 800×600 or perhaps 1024×768 and hope that individuals using 1600×1200 get good eyes Or perhaps there is some trick to making text break into multiple copy under higher file sizes I guess you may do this having js… Views I havent discovered this is generally there a link so i could read about this specific lol… Study up here: http: //www. webdesignforums. net/thread7769. html There’s a better way w/ js in making it 100% until x quantity of pixels have been … Continue reading

Making a computer app a web app

Hello there everyone. I was just wondering if there is anyway to make any application for ones computer into an appication for that web which can be run in the browser window. expanding navigation bar like apple.com

we’ve a navigation bar width=800. how do i make the dining room table fit 100% on the browser window i looked over thier source signal of apple. com and so they have a personal on each aspect that loops any background pic.. but after i did that it shifted each one of my slices.. ASSISTANCE PLEASE it’s probably something related to the width settings to the cells and/or the table in general. can you publish the source code for the table, or supplies a link to your page containing that problematic code thanks for you prompt response… however i actually simply just figured it available myself… In my opinion it’s because you have the total size to equal 400. Even though the resolution you desire your site for being optimized for might be 800×600, the web dimensions for the width are marginally different. I believe a new width of 780 (or was it 768) is what you should set it to get. Why the big difference The scrollbar about the right takes way up some space.

100% Stretch Or Not

Hi Im from a dialema the present site im implementing looks good yet is smallish upon screen, nearly every one of the sites i discover are set to 100% so they really fill the enitre screen but i feel this would leave a huge gap of unused space for the one im implementing and remove through the visual effects. Can a site sized at 750 * 550 centralised vertically and also horizontally still look as good as a site which fills up the whole screen sure…. there are sooooo many sites to choose from that have the width of 720-ish simply check the thumbnails upon www. cssvault. com I ment vertically definitely not horizontally my site is going 725 by 600 but i dont need to really stretch it being full length of a users screen because i believe it will leave lots of empty space but im confused if not possessing it 100% throughout length will detract from the site. also… hmmmm… i’m personnaly not too fond of site that will not span 100% length. i feel like i’m inside a tiny box, especially once i view it having my 21inch with 1600×1200 res. although that’s just us Is … Continue reading

I guess you can add HTML: position: comparable; To the CSS for any layer, and then upload the layer rules inside those for your table, like and so: HTML: < table> < tr> < td> < div> content < /div> < /td> < /tr> < /table> Not examined, if this isn’t what you recommended please clarify. You can facility the image in the table cell (or you could be using css). Make the background exactly the same color as the color in the graphic. It will like appear that the actual image is switching size, when in fact, it’s only that background changing size. This table size (width=90%) will actually stretch to help always display in 90% on the browser window… this image remains focused. Karinne is definitely right… we need to visit a link for a webpage to definitely help.
