Photoshop to css HELP
I had been slicing photoshop plus putting it within tables until I found that was incorrect. Then I found out about using css and also the examples I here’s finding don’t specifically fit to my internet site, so Im wanting to ask question that will help me understand it. I’m not always helpful to picking it ” up ” how others express it. If that adds up. any way I’d like to see to slice up website and position the idea with css as an alternative to tables. I created a bit example to demonstrate where I feel having problems. If anyone could possibly help me position or check out my code as well as show me where by I’m going wrong I would appreciate it. I don’t prefer to repeat any pictures or use color for any back ground. I’d like to see to use just about all images. I know you require headings, so I think I want to help hide the wording. recommendations my example Perspective attachment 4691 here i will discuss my slices Perspective attachment 4693 Perspective attachment 4692 Perspective attachment 4694 Perspective attachment 4695 So my css code could be this system text-align: heart; perimeter: … Continue reading

You work with absolute positioning, but every one of us use different size monitors, what exactly I see in the event different than everyone. Delete each of the CSS style stuff that may be not part of one’s WP theme. Each of the layout things should be done within ones theme CSS. Hello there there, I will be about to start designing a few artists websites. I’m sure the basics of html and css, along with use dreamweaver. However Concerning never made selection pages and wonder the way you get images to enlarge from a separate pop-up, as well as new blank site, when clicked Can anyone guide me – the most effective way would be valued! thanks, Amyjojo You will find 2 JQuery methods that happen to be really nice. LightBox along with PrettyPhoto It is really all Javascripting in essence. While you click on your thumbnail, it enlarges and then you can do PREV and Close to slideshow them. Here’s an idea, click on your photo… Herndon Heald – jewelry – handmade – artisan That particular uses PrettyPhoto. ================ Part 2 on this post… Commonly, a photo gallery is performed using PHP/MySQL. You then have a login page for the artist, and they upload their own photos, as well as captions, titles, and many others. The PHP scripts squeeze photos in a directory and help you save photo data inside the database. 2 gallery is seen, PHP is applied again to dynamically develop the page of photos. It also makes … Continue reading

Getting into web design/developement career field?
My organization is self taught throughout PHP, css, code, and currently learning javaScript. I am unable to venture to school due to be able to financial reasons. I am in the us. I was curious about if anyone knows if its possible to find an opportunity to get into this field professionally without any schooling, no qualification. Maybe just spend on cert’s or something A common ones I know of would be the W3C ones plus the zend PHP cert. I am very very passionate about wanting to start this for a located. Any advise or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead. Get any webhost account internet, not a free one, but a good one, like 1and1. com or like that. Create your individual website. Next, find some neighborhood or non-profit businesses which could use a brand-new website, and develop something for these. Charge a token-fee or minimal fee for the time. You have to develop a portfolio demonstrating what you can do. Get some real freelance work opportunities online and produce a few sites. There’s no doubt that if you get some good online development under-your-belt, there’s a chance you’re able to show your abilities with a company and … Continue reading

Gap between the header and logo IE6
Hello there to everyone. I’m new to the current forum, I’m pleased I’m here currently, it seems in the form of powerful resource for all you members. At any rate, if you see online Untitled Document you are going to see a space between the header plus the logo. I can’t understand why would it be happening because I do not have any space somewhere between them, it really works fine in Firefox. This css Code: HUMAN BODY background-color: #000000; . Floatl float: left; . Floatr float: right; #CloseVideoButton #Container thicker: 756px; margin-left: vehicle; margin-right: auto; #Header thicker: auto; height: 54px; padding-top: 2px; #HeaderBorder thicker: auto; height: 1px; very clear: both; background-image: url(images/header_border. jpg); background-repeat: repeat-x; My html Code: < div id=" Container" > < div id=" Header" > < img src=" images/play_button. gif" onclick=" playPromoVideo()" onmouseover=" changeCursor(this, ‘pointer’)" onmouseout=" changeCursor(this, ‘default’)" class=" Floatr" /> < img src=" images/appstore. jpg" onclick=" showAppStore()" onmouseover=" changeCursor(this, ‘pointer’)" onmouseout=" changeCursor(this, ‘default’)" class=" Floatl" /> < /div> < div id=" HeaderBorder" > < /div> < div id=" Logo" > < img src=" images/logo. jpg" onclick=" playPromoVideo()" onmouseover=" changeCursor(this, ‘pointer’)" onmouseout=" changeCursor(this, ‘default’)" /> < /div> < /div> <! — ****************** REPRODUCTOR P VIDEO ************ … Continue reading

Very noobish question about text…
Hi there everyone. Sorry to get yet another noob asking just another noob question, but this seems as if a great community forum. Once i place a piece of text inside a table, I can set the margins etc inside the CSS, but why does the text immediately just sit during the table Regardless of I do I tough to find any way for it to default into the top of the table Aside from ‘bumping’ it up with the addition of in & nbsp’s Help much appriciated! Heya Kaiserman, In case you are laying out your design try a div instead of an table and make use of css. If you should use a dining room table use valign to put it to this top < stand width=" 100%" border=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" > < tr> < td valign=" top" > & nbsp; < /td> < /tr> < /table> Kind regards and the cellpadding=" 0" is where you’ll be able to set the margins when they are equal (eg. 5px perimeter all around). If you would like unique margins, you can apply this < stand width=" 100%" border=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" fashion = " margin-top: 5px; margin-left: … Continue reading
