Aligning to top?
Alright, I’m trying for making my page among the list of 100% vertical grow sites centered down the middle of the screen that contain gotten so popular. Problem is, I can’t learn how to do it. After i put a stand in Dreamweaver intended for my images, it won’t okay get anywhere near the top of the particular screen so there’s a major gap between my table/image as well as URL bar. What gives WE see everyone else practice it fine… Whenever you click in the table cell thinking that text cursor appears, look at the actual properties bar. About the bottom-right there really should be 2 words: Horz: Vert: And then to them really should be a drop-down menu while using possible selections: Default Top Bottom Middle Beside the ‘Vert’ phrase, go to the actual drop-down box plus select ‘Top’. This should work fine along with your problem should become solved. Sorry for the long post and With regards to I was of some help to you! There is a number of margin usually explained by most browsers to the body element which will not permit you to reach the pretty top or sides of your respective browser. You … Continue reading →

XP SP2 and the Drop-Down
Features anyone noticed this there’s this bothersome message that slides down with the top of the IE page written content window now whenever you go to an affiliate site with drop straight down menus running XP with Service Group 2 All my templates, all the plus the drop-downs are today screwed. Of course, you can always go into the options along with change the configurations, but in my personal mind, if I’m designing for that web, and SP2 will be causing this communication to popup for almost any drop-down menu, I need to rule out even while using the drop-downs because the actual XP SP2 user base grows everyday and I don’t need to rely on the common non-tech savvy user being forced to go into those options to allow for this stuff that will drop down and it is just a sort of harassment. Fine Lord, has SP2 essentially ruled out your drop-down menu and also does anyone know of drop-downs which can be SP2 compliant Have any URLs for us to see I have SP2 about my laptop hence I haven’t used it a lot of, but I haven’t experienced concern yet (although I did just recently upgrade).

DreamWeaver MX – graphical drop down menu.
Greetings all, does DWMX have a very wizard/utility that lets you create a shift down menu I’d like it so that when the user clicks 1 button more switches /options appear beneath, and if so how do i use this I’d like to keep the food selection area tidy along with say only five option buttons after which show more hidden options should the user clicks a button which has more options. Thanks ahead of time, Mitch…. By simply default, no, not that i know of. Even so, there are websites extensions that might add a tool to accomplish this (such as a main from SouthLink.. er similar to that.. but it may not be free). You could possibly be better off thinking about something like online world. dynamicdrive. com for what a different. At world wide web. liknow. com you’ll uncover AllWebMenus and a great deal of tools you might want for your site. There’s a LITE edition free. Thank you guys… tried Dynamic drive out and is particularly very good. Glad to get helped.. If you have an trouble with on the list of scripts, just present me a shout.

Layers Vs. Layout tables in Dreamweaver
alright, I understand the actual concepts mostly of the right way to use both along with I find Layers less of a challenge to get around with many times. I use layout tables just for sliced up photos or big photographs with smaller rollover parts. When I take a look at other people’s web pages in Dreamweaver WHEN I find them to get comprised usually of layout tables. The key disadvantages of Levels I find is usually they use absolute positioning therefore , the relativity of your page is definitely the same. I like this though it does make your page must be smaller than the actual screen on med-high quality monitor settings. The big downside I find that will layers though is actually always top priorities over javascript side effects like drop down menus. I can’t fit drop down menus above anything in a very layer because the menu always drops behind the coating. I just are unable to make the drop down menu take priority. If whats down below the drop down menu is in layout table that covers that no issue. I just loathe using layout dining tables when I don’t have to. Someone please guide. Are … Continue reading →

drop down menu item to link to another page
How would I go about linking a fall down menu item to another page in my web site Simplest system, but requires Javascript: HTML: < select onclick=" window. place = this. value" > < method value=" page1. html" > First Page< /option> < method value=" page2. html" > Following Page< /option> < /select> While i use that signal, and I click a service in the fall down menu, it just clicks and reloads the initial item frequently. I accomplish my drop-downs around CSS, so I’m not 100% convinced, but, since it’s actually a select, try attaching filburt’s code around < form> tags. Drop downs throughout CSS are pretty straightforward should you be comfortable with CSS. MY SPOUSE AND I generally do nested unordered directories for navigation, while using inside < ul> getting hidden until this hover. That appears confusing, so i want to show you. HTML: < ul id=" nav" > < li> < the href=" index. html" > home< /a> < /li> < li> < the href=" section1. html" > Portion 1< /a> < ul> < li> < the href=" s1_pt1. html" > Sect. ONE Part 1< /a> < /li> < li> < the href=" s1_pt2. html" > Sect. … Continue reading →

"how did you hear about us" drop down menu
We now have set up google analytics to discover converstions, but it’s hard to tell whether folks going through checkout identified us on ebay, as well as from our PAID ADVERTISING campaigns on yahoo and google. Is there the right way to set up a drop-down box in checkout for your customer to convey to how they perceive about us The options would be: Yahoo Search, Google Research, MSN Search, Ebay Lookup, friend, Magazine advertisement, etc. I would have to have the output to attend an excel or even text file with our webserver, so I can retreive it monthly and show off at results. The output will have to be sent once they select it, but not need a button to be clicked…. they will need to be clicking that " continue checkout" control key on that internet page. thanks, Alden online world. simpsoncycles. com Dont get it done on change, given that theyre clicking the particular checkout button, just process the form in the checkout handling code. < mode action=" checkouthandlingcode. php" method=" post" > < find name=" heardFrom" > < solution value=" -1" > Please today i want to know how you found out about us: < … Continue reading →

You may have noticed that the specials and agents pages usually do not work. Specials i’m to not ever worried about at this point but i’m currently focusing on the agents article. What i’m seeking to do is, have a dropdown box to the agents page then when you click on one of the agents from the actual list (most likely listed by suburb) within the same page information about that agent might be displayed (address along with what not) with no actually navigating faraway from the page. I really hope you understand what i’m endeavoring to do. I’m trying to lessen clutter regularly, so hopefully you are able to understand why I only desire to use a dropdown during this fashion. HELP IS APPRECIATED furthermore other ideas usually are welcome, but will not start dissing this n00by coding skillz. Thankyou! Paul You could use an < iframe>. The inline … Continue reading →
