Alignment problem with CSS in IE

Hi there Everyone, I’m taking care of a page that could have invisible backlinks hidden over a great image. I used CSS to help position the links within the image. It shows correctly in Firefox as well as Chrome, but in IE there’s an area between a lot of the background images end of it. Does anyone realize how to close the gap Thanks beforehand. (I will, not surprisingly, add a border=" none" tag if the page is all set — to disguise the links. ) I evaluations have a whole of 13 links, if that matters. With thanks, Joe <! Dwelling Page I know that is the basic error Thanks before time OHH FYI I want it to mimic it does if you view it in IE. Did you try reducing the very best: 366px to 345px maybe As well as, what a clutter of code! You should certainly clean that ” up “! Harmonic’s onto something with the " mess with code" comment. I understand this is your current first try, nonetheless it looks like somebody or something (i. e. a program) assisted you. Your big issue is the fact that you’re trying for being pixel-perfect with points and use utter positioning where it does not work or suit. The absolute placement is what’s putting together off your full layout, not simply the flower. Fundamentally, you should start out this page above from scratch, code a bit without the location, see it … Continue reading

Ok, so I know search for seem crazy, but I never claimed being sane. I’ve recently had a thought to implement a website simply because that when I used to be doing personal homework, I could POSSIBLY NOT find what I became looking for. Thus, to me, it’s just a gap that I really could fill and a resource I believe many would recognize the value of. I’m wanting to produce a directory-type site with a database of all the online degree packages available. There can be a few sites such as this now, but they tend to be nowhere near complete enough and poorly done as a result of. I’m currently possessing that research done personally so I own my data established. When that is finished, I’m expect to acquire data on ONLY TWO, 000 – A FEW, 000 online courses. I want that can put this data in to a directory that is definitely searchable and includes custom filters. http: //www. directoryofschools. com/ is a good example of type of what I’m opting for only a little simpler. Dreamweaver To Firefox Ratio Problems! I Think…

Good day, We are new to web site design. I created a website in dreamweaver. The top part has a corporation flash banner. The tabs all have got links to different pages. In dreamweaver. ONLY TWO questions. ONE. When I previewed the property page in Firefox the flashbanner had a gap between the bottom on the space and this slice immediatly under it. Funny thing is there’s no gap on opera, chrome as well as safari. Does anyone realize why and how we can fix this ONLY TWO. Not an important question but, I want to be sure the pages are generally all linked together once about the host like they’re locally. I couldnt figure out how to do the full upload FTP factor with Dreamweaver so i did it with Filezilla, that is what GoDaddy suggested anyways. Plus its more visual and so easier for our brain to place my head all-around. Anyways,,, If I simply drag and drop your whole root folder straight into host will your links still website link together What about excess stuff around my assets folder Is that a problem Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Especially the whole firefox issue. If you are … Continue reading
