As soon as someone says MODERN LOOK what can they really mean (if you can share a couple URLs I’d appreciate it) I believe others will (and should ) help to increase this, but within my book, today’s looks is your white background, slim lines, sans serif fonts (very important), fresh and uncluttered, with lots of space. Notice i always said nothing related to colours, because I believe this varies an excess of. Expect this helps. I always think about a modern website as a modern house. Modern, if you will probably. Clean, non-cluttered. Perhaps light colors. Pastel colors. I am sick of scanlines, incidentally. They seem being cliche now. You might have a " modern" glimpse without them. Maybe I shouldn’t be talking though simply because my site is known for a background grid… Or simply " modern" is often a site that doesn’t seem like it was created in 1998.

We have managed to placed a functional website to get a friend but have to have help. I want to add a new swirl boarder around my friend photo and take away the square glimpse the photo possesses. OS Commerce vs VirtueMart

Concerning been looking at VirtueMart the past few days and I need to to get quite a few feedback from you guys if i should start transferring to Joomla/virtuemart Just about any opinions, insides : ermm: Truly used both. WHEN I prefer VirtueMart, because of Joomla’s CMS features and its uncomplicated integration with various other components, and also that experts claim you can offer " virtual" (downloadable) items with VirtueMart. But there are actually major issues with all the whole Joomla CMS (e. g. SEO problems, terrible HTML, database inefficiency of which makes large websites slow as molasses) which have been making me glimpse towards Drupal + this Drupal e-Commerce Module besides Joomla + VirtueMart. It appears as though a lot more work to secure a base install inside Drupal, but as soon as you get a configuration you want, people say Drupal will be the best OS CMS accessible.

lcd vs crt

hi since i moved to an intel mac as well as a new flat tv screen lcd monitor, everything within the screen is blocky in addition to blurred at 1024 back button 768 and EIGHT HUNDRED x 600. Only when i switch in order to 1680 x 1050 it becomes ok. I want to design at 1024 back button 768 as this can be a most used establishing today. Ive tried adjusting settings on my mac and within the monitor itself but no joy. I posted this issue in the macintosh forum and manged to get this response – " Any LCD should look blocky and blurred or even set to its native resolution. To see how a page will appear using a lower resolution present, reduce the size with the browser window, or purchase a CRT display, which will be sharp on any resolution. K size Conflict.

We are a graphic designer to get a web site plus my boss thinks that most my graphics needs to be about 15k. At this point I figure of which on graphics by using small dimensions, 15k will be understandable. However my superior feels that my graphics ought to be around 15k.
