ARGH!! This great site is one in order to behold, it actually took me more than a year to learn how to get past the next page. I 1st visited it after I saw these guys live… astounding band, terrible blog. Hi, I have problem I need to solve and I’m not sure the best option to go. Basicly I need a avalibility calander using a web page. Every day can be in a single of three ‘states’, often avalible, confirmed arranged or unconfirmed. Truly written the internet page in HTML. using tables (Click here to discover it so far) The problem will be the site was generated for some people who need ideas of HTML and I don’t want to have to keep doing it again becasue these people accidently deleted half a table. At the moment if a particular date changes from one particular state to one more they e-mail my home and I modify it manualy. What I need is really a way of building some form of front end so as to go and help to make alterations by clicking about the days or something. Possibly a password protected page so they could log on from wereever they’re and change points. Not sure of the best ways of going over it. Ever so slightly large problem here…. (CSS)

Right, I decided for at the first try I was likely to do a web page in CSS, its a website for one regarding my father’s friends (its the replacement for that website I posted in that other thread within " hows the site, " whenever anyone remembers that) In any case, the css seems to your workplace OKISH in Firefox, but it dosnt work in the slightest properly in IE. And theres also a few problems in Firefox however, the width setting within the links in the top end right dosnt are most often working, it shoud be the whole 200px across… IE seems to be resizing the major image section affordable (how the hell) plus makes the links as being a list, tiling vertically. How do I convince a client to let go of an old design?

Has anyone ever had a web layout client who refused all though the most lame of layouts Relating to a client who would like to keep their tiled background *shudder* plus banner *double shudder* mainly because he likes in order to change them often *triple shudder*. That is the business site, and I’ve tried to convince him to look at a nicer, a lot more stable layout (that doesn’t change color as well as pattern every month), but he seems to would like to keep as much the way in which it is as possible. The longer I believe about it, a lot more I realize: all he or she is getting for my trouble may be a navigation bar… and he doesn’t like something concerning this (but he is not going to tell me what exactly, so I can’t remedy it! ). His / her site currently purposes frames… poorly, in addition to he uses your Yahoo hosting company (which means not any PHP or CGI! ).
