Finally i added a portfolio image but it was done. Here is the first time we’ve tried to design a website this way. What do people think of this design. Does anyone possess any ideas/suggestions to enhance it http: //www. jasonstanley. co. uk/misc/layout. jpg 1) dont create a savings fund same font for the entire page 2) whats when using the diagonal image! The diagonal image should preferably be like the Polaroid picture. Fraternity Website HELP!
Hi guys i’m familiar with web design but new to photoshop 7. I’ve used it a bit here and at this time there to doctor way up pictures but now i’m no expert. I’m looking to make a internet site for my fraternity which is very professional looking but also very graphically rigorous since there truly isn’t all a whole lot of content. I’m looking to use brotherhood photos as well as crest somewhere within the design. Our colorations are blue, silver, white, black, yellow metal and maroon. A picture with the crest can be found at www. tech-area. com/h/techarea/crest. bmp. I’ve looked around to view what other fraternities do for websites, but really, most of them have become beginner looking, bland, and basically simply suck. I needs all help i will get here having suggestions and tips because i you should not really know where to begin with. Usually i’d evaluate someone elses site and apply it as a reference, but like when i said, most of the fraternity sites my partner and i found are just simply bland and very beginner looking. Since a fraternity is a buisness, it ought to be professional, graphically demanding, and also have … Continue reading

hi, need some help
hi was trying to see if an individual can point me inside right direction, basically on this subject site i determined http: //www. prentissdouthit. com/collection_wedding. html i has been wondering how they have the images on the right to load up in the middle of the page not having it goto your popup or brand new page. from the source it seems like it was performed in flash although not sure. thx Seems like Flash to us… Notice how you can’t select any kind of text. Sort of a bad thing because content won’t make an appearance… SEO issues right now there. Yes it is all flash. Something not at all hard to do. If you want a more effective internet site (one that empasizes written content over effects), feel free to use something like Lightbox. The search engines it. Or, seeing that I use mootools, employ Slimbox. There’s a new sample there as well, to see the effect you’ll have access to. When you produce a site completely together with flash, there is bit of chance any search engines like google will understand precisely what your site is focused on. Human can read the text embedded inside flash, but … Continue reading

Are IFRAMES safe?
This is certainly my first posting. I’d like to express Hello to everybody and hopefully I could help out all-around here: glasses:. Something I’ve never seriously liked about standard website design is your typical setup where by different sections are seperated inside their own HTML web pages. A user in that case switches sections by say About Us to contact Us with most of your sitelinks. Somewhere around 50% of your respective website is in that case reloaded, your browser goes blank and reloads your subject matter, you see this ugly place card owner images, etc.. So I’m designing my websites to be effective in other methods, either by having a DIV and next assigning it’s " src" which includes a javascript routine, or an easy method to do this is to use your IFRAME, which it is possible to reload dynamically making use of javascript. Also, this lets you have your dynamically packed HTML in seperate documents, which is unattainable with my DIV/javascript process (afaik). Without you place all your current HTML directly in the javascript for any page. What I’m looking for out is if I should trust my websites in these methods, because maybe this IFRAME and/or … Continue reading

Images are not displaying as sized
I’m totally confused. I’ve setup rollovers to swap image which often works fine. However I have no idea how or things know about set to have images display for the reason that size that I’ve already set. Most images are measured to 280×350 and also 350×280. I have read precisely what I can regarding different browser settings however personally i think that I must have to change the settting with the " mainframe" div. internet. Keiserphotography. com If you look at the site We are aware that there are plenty of links that are certainly not finished yet. Thanks for any incite that you might provide. This took myself a while pinpoint, but I understand what the problem is usually! The following Line: < p align=" center" > < img src=" HomepageIMages/bellyshot. jpg" name=" frame1" width=" 350" height=" 280" align=" absmiddle" id=" frame1" /> < /p> Eliminate the dimensions… such as this: < p align=" center" > < img src=" HomepageIMages/bellyshot. jpg" name=" frame1" align=" absmiddle" id=" frame1" /> < /p> UPDATE: I didn’t watch this with FireFox yet, but I suspect you may have some problems. absmiddle is not necessarily recognized with FireFox Could possibly be other things too. … Continue reading

What exactly are your opinions about implementing 3D into online store web sites Exactly what role do the modern 3D models enjoy in online buying field Can these models help attract buyers to on-line shopping web site 3DProf4online from TouchBubble. com depends upon how you put it to use. The website they you’re linking to is by using a plugin that isn’t very popular. I think if you can use quicktime, or expensive, then it could transform your website. Comparing 3D solution view presentation using Flash it should be pointed out that Human anatomy 3d models are regarded as more realistic! The point is that they let users to turn, zoom, move, flip and view each aspect on the product from any angle in real time! In addition the newest technologies allow making 3D technologies which includes a small source-file dimension with excellent quality. These models are downloaded within a seconds!! The variance between 3D along with Flash or 2D will be incomparable! Isn’t it 3DProf4online from TouchBubble. com but the problem is the fact people arn’t willing to download the plugin that they will use just for around website. You will lose many visitors Moreover, familiarity will often win … Continue reading
absolute or relative positioning?
hi. Im really confused relating to this. I have started building a website in dreamweaver using a table. I have centered the dining room table. The challenge starts when i attempt to using layers. I need to layer quite a few text over the image. If i use absolute positioning the text will forever remain at some sort of fixed point next time i resize the browser (which is pointless). When i employ relative positioning layer will never lie together with the image. It is very frustrating. can someone offer a sugguestion please gives thanks. Make the image a background image of the table, or dump the actual table and learn how to use divs. Putting text together with an image described in HTML is never the way to do it. Including Eddy said, the best ways to put word over an graphic is you fill out an application that image as a background. I strongly propose you dump the table in addition and go CSS up! Check the sticky within the HTML/CSS forum or in my sig to the WHY’s and HOW’s Male, cyberspace claimed this post, but MY SPOUSE AND I said what karinne reported, and even provided … Continue reading
