Need help with a Joomla website

Hello there if I’m in the wrong section, had not been sure where to help post this. Anyway I’m planning a webstite for any musician(www. renegadesufi. com). It looks fine in Firefox although it’s cutting off my right selection bar in Internet Explorer(and the bottom half of top page). Any assistance. I used a plan called Artisteer to style the template, operating Joomla 1. 5. Any help a lot appreciated. IE8 appears to be fine. Which internet explorer version are you describing There’s a right sidebar that’s completely missing with IE that’s generally there in FF. I’ll see what he’s preaching about. The issue I see from the top is until this particular page ended up being copied/pasted from what appears to be Microsoft Word, and the code/formatting for Word is possibly interfering because of this. If you’re planning to copy/paste from Phrase, you need to be able to copy/paste into an editor (e. gary the gadget guy. CKEditor) that incorporates a Word-specific copy/paste functionality. If you do not, the code generated shall be an absolute mess, which is what you will have here. I don’t know if this is what the problem is, but i can’t get past the … Continue reading

One course I am look at is one from Rutgers University: https: //rutgers. catalog. cerkit. rutge… e/display/6044 I just do not know really if this is what I should be seeking or this can give me the training i always need to break into the field. Any help or guidance would be great, thanks. Advert someone who appeared to be taught Dreamweaver and also Flash in this college course in web technologies, my advice to you is to run away from this you. It seems being more a course on the right way to use specific software in lieu of a course about web development and design. There are SEVEN modules on Pen and another SIX on Dreamweaver – most are the two most-expensive in addition to least-used software programs I own. If you’re gonna spend several grand on learning how to begin this, spend it at learning the languages (PHP, MySQL, javascript,. ASP. NET – that almost thing), not particular and very constraining … Continue reading

In the section with " status=yes", you possibly can add things for instance " toolbar=yes, location=yes, directories=yes, status=yes, menubar=yes, scrollbars=yes, copyhistory=yes, resizable=yes’", giving an complete browser GUI towards the pop up. Nevertheless, none of these " flags" will always make the css editor appear next time i click on the actual extension’s menu option " edit css". Anyone knows what must be there so as to bring the css editor Maybe a different method associated with opening pop ups, for instance, one that would produce a fully fledged windows. I’m a finished newbie. The intention should be to have a show up with iframes that contain several pages of the same website, so as to visualize all the effects of the css through the entire site (or just as much as I can just a single page in a single monitor) as I edit it around the fly. Link home to "root of site" instead of index.html?

hence i’ve seen it once or twice here I’m unclear how to can and why bother Thanks! your root could well be " http: //www. yourdomain. com/" and the reason would be so that yahoo don’t index this index page the second time by subsequent the link – this will likely create duplicate written content issues. Hmm… OK… but can it cause almost every other issues Because it seems like a lot of work to repair all the buttons then. very little… but in that grander scheme… when you search engine will supply higher precedence (ranking points ) with a site that internally chek out the root… compared with a page… Search engines like yahoo expect you for you to follow some unwritten policies…. this is one which is talked with regards to at SES ( all the time I’ve ever also been )… so it have to be important to these… It is best to just find an editor to to your " find / change " of anything inside the site that references the foundation that way… Well.
