I should find out how to do that… similar to.. http: //www. webdesignforums. net/index. phps= exactly how filb has that drop shadow, i should find out how to accomplish that – i DO possess the 2 side graphics, i just want to find out the HTML coding check out view > origin.. you will know. You would like more than COUPLE OF side images… you need FIVE edge images as well as 4 corner images (if you intend to make it appear realistic). Then result in a 3×3 table the place that the center is your content and the edges are track record images of cells plus the corners are photographs. Check for certainly one of how i would take action. Given WDF’s frightening source, it is not going to likely help FWIW they’re hopeless. It took two hours to have them working both in IE and Mozilla, not really counting the slicing time in Photoshop. But, then once more, these are actually correct drop shadows, not flat shadows or anything of that ranking. …. i dont really want corner ones, i’d prefer 2 side types, i have this 2 side shots, someone please aid -. – have a look … Continue reading

2 problems — need help!
Hello, I’m new to web design and this is definitely my first page: http: //gx-temp-domain. 50megs. com/ (it’s pertaining to my brood war clan). Having two problems with this, though, the first that is that I’ve unsightly blue/purple packing containers around my property’s buttons. Is this for the reason that they’re each inside their own table row/cell I’ve tried setting that will " link" plus " vlink" attributes to " white" in my body tag as a way to match the white-colored background, but that didn’t find a way to work. The next problem is with the iframe in the middle of the page. I sized it making sure that it would appear tasteful in IE6, but when investigating the page with Mozilla (linux compile) it can be distorted. Is there the best way that I may ensure cross-compatiblity concerning browsers That may be it, thanks!

Dreamweaver MX 2004: Impressive
I’ll be the 1st to admit I’m not one for " fancy" programs that aid me personally in coding. But I simply wanted to create a minute to say WOW just for this program. I’ve been applying CSS for over 5 years today and was simply just used to that WYSIWYG editors just couldn’t handle what I used to be doing. This program seemingly differnet. Patient using Dreamweaver MX, even though it has great rendering support to get tables (sometimes) CSS the item just gets murdered. DWMX04 does something I didn’t think possible: the idea rendered my web pages perfectly. WOW what an incredible tool. I also recognized they’ve fixed several issues with this CSS support. Specifically with lists. Inside DWMX, lists which were styled just bought murdered. And since my own new favorite (and correct) form of navigation is making use of unordered lists it killed all my pages. NOw it looks exactly like it should inside the browswer while sticking in my WYSIWYG manager. Way cool. I also noticed you could edit CSS styles directly with the properties panel when selecting the text you could have. Too cool to become true. I’d been utilizing EditCSS for mozilla to … Continue reading

Anything I could add to improve it really is appreciated. Please check http: //www. dopes-planet. com/new/home. php Many thanks. Btw, please check this only out if yer applying IE, ‘cos it looks a lot more terrible in Mozilla or Opera must fix that someday, too I would privately lighten the background to check out if which has a better effect over the internet. That way you can add a text-box which has a green border to obtain your body wording in too. I viewed this specific in IE specially available for you! It is a little messed in Firefox, unsusual… Change the font applied to your header, it looks nasty… with regard to it’s cleanly produced don’t add … Continue reading

What are my options?
Sorry to the extremely vague and noobish post, but where must begin I have a couple of sites i wish to streamline. basically seperate my personal data from the structure, and my personal structure from the design. At first we were certain that the perfect marriage would provide html + css + xml. How wrong we were! Said streamlining could involved using HTML to view a basic xml file for those of my website’s data (news, updates, so forth). Little did i know at that time, mozilla does not really support data islands, and thusly the idea was taken all to heck (as 50% and up of my viewing audience will be mozilla/netscape users). Really the only solutions i have realized have involved javascript hacks and extremely sophisticated XSL processors that appear to nullify the first intention of always keeping my sites straightforward to update. I just want to update a text(or whatever) record, then upload them to my site. This is a tremendously simple sounding trouble, and coming at a programming world, i can’t comprehend why it isnt simpler to accomplish. Therefore, before i draw what little hair relating to left out, i found yourself in you, readers with … Continue reading
