Concerning a heavy Illustrator background, but I will be new to web development. I’m using Dreamweaver for that website, and I have the whole Macromedia studio and Illustrator. Concerning a nice lose colour from grey that will white image when my background and desire to make a map-reading bar using text. I want to apply shading and shadowing for the text and use a rollover effect this simply changes this text color as well as creates a light effect. I would love the text to become like an image so it displays correctly in all browsers. I just would like the text to lay over the fade without using a band of shade or button powering it. Ok im pretty good at webdesign, but i use tables to support all my pattern together and position things, as im told through the people here thats not ideal. when i test using divs i acquired no idea easy methods to align my written content in divs and also use multipul divs to keep certain stuff, i cant notify text to line up 300 pixels from the the side with my design i could tell my divs how big for being where to sit on the page what sort of hell does that make my design better if i dont use tables please tell me how to do this(basic explanation) because i have no clue how to employ divs since my personal teacher never tought you divs The solution to this will be one word: CSS. Good, I’m an second time beginners wedesigner and I am using Microsoft Frontpage with the last few decades. I know basic HTML and steps to make decent sites having Frontpage. For the top time I’ve been trying to get a decent map-reading bar up which stays put when you browse through various other pages. Hi guys that is probably really simple thing determine but i only don’t knw what exactly i’m doing inappropriate. Not long ago i signed up to some webhost and created a practice website. i uploaded the actual practice site in to my public/html folder because index. html. now while i visit my website all i see may be the html/css code. the url is usually link removed in the event someone could take a look and see where by i’m going wrong that is going to be great. thanks ahead of time.
