Spacing text.

I’m attempting to sort out the text. I’ve just started out using Dreamweaver MX and whenever I write text in a very textbox I aren’t able to space it available properly. I’d like regarding my text trend similar to a new word document (when you press enter in a word insurance policy the cursor moves on the next line; whenever you do this implementing html, you effectively move 2 lines down). How should i make it sothat plainly write an handle, for example: 12 Sam St Samsville Samcity getting older turn out while: 12 Sam St Samsville Samcity I know this is not difficult, but as your newcomer I thought it’d be superior to ask this here than split my hair out seeking to work it out and about. Thanks Sam Whenever you press ‘Enter’, hold shift in the process: ‘Shift’ & ‘Enter’ – this will produce the formatting you might need That will continue to work, more specificly the code that you’re using when demanding just " enter" is < p> < /p> (Paragraph) and when using " change + enter" that you’re using < br> (line break) Li Brad Bless you guys. I’d used HTML several years ago … Continue reading

I need to guarantee that the first bit doesn’t summarize onto a next page, by making the text smaller if it will eventually. Can you really build rich text message format files about the server Or can there be another way to begin this Code: < h1 style=" page-break-before: always" > Title< /h1> < p> Paragraph< /p> < h1 style=" page-break-before: always" > Title< /h1> < p> Paragraph< /p> .

How to make my webpage fit to any screen resolution?

Costly All, We are new to the following forum. I own developed a Intranet webpage for my corporation using MS Frontpage 2002. I designed the web using my keep track of screen resolution established to 1024 * 768 pixels. While i view it around another pc that is using (monitor) filter resolution set that will 800*600 pixels, my personal website doesn’t dispaly properly. I used platform in my webpage. How to fix this challenge Pls help my home! 1) Don’t use frames. 2) As an alternative to setting in pixels to the dimensions, set the idea in percent(i. electronic. not 800 pixels, but similar to 60%). 3) Don’t use frames. 4) Design it in order that even at 800×600, the frames don’t run over screen. See http: //www. airfleettraining. com This is my first at any time commercial site, back while i too used frontpage. I thought structures were the neatest thing – yet i designed it in order that even at 800×600 there will be no scrolling. Easily were to re-do the item again, guess precisely what I wouldn’t employ frames!! shiny Design the idea using either 100% wider, or no greater than 780 pixels. Rotating text……

We have been given a request to make rotating text… Rotating is probably not a good word for it. Essentially this is what is wanted. To the intranet main page where we usually bi-monthly place a new news letter together with 8-15 articles of varying importance. This page is static without changing until the subsequent issue of the particular newsletter. What is sought is in on the list of tables to have a fading, alternating, rotating in and out component to text with shots, links and so forth that’ll alternate between 5-8 of the most crucial articles. In the surrounding tables may have secondary articles. We have seen something comparable on www. windows live messenger. com (Right right now, they don’t get anything like Im looking for) but hopefully you might have the picture. I’d like this to be something which is dynamic, and easy in order to update and include content to from a relatively short amount of time. Anyone have the proper job ideas I hardly understand what you indicate, the rotating part. Do you indicate a 3-d consequence I guess you’d really need to get a 3-d design program. Or do you just mean this text will … Continue reading

Using links instead of includes?

Hello there, I’ve been doing web design for a small amount now but possess never really experienced any training or anything inside, so here’s precisely what I’m wondering. If you’re looking for the super-quick version you can skip to the past paragraph. Concerning a site that has many domains, but every one of them is slightly different so it isn’t a referral type thing. Think of it like a car website needed instance, coolcars. com. Following that, I would likewise own the domain names for coolfordcars. com, coolchevycars. com, and many others. Each of these pages could well be slightly different (geared when it comes to that specific car), so it’s not a matter of these all referring for the same place. Thus, now I have 100 or so domains like this. Each of them uses the identical template for diverse content. But things like the footer, the top end image bar, and many others. are all the same. Thus, the index. php file for every domain has your call to Code: include " footer. html" Now, I merely found the downside to this. I had to change the footer, so I had research into my file transfer protocol program, … Continue reading

DWMX help please

Good day all, is there any way connected with manipulating the spacing among lines for career fields in repeat zones I’d like to close the grounds up because right now they are too much apart for this liking. Thanks ahead of time, Mitch…. Repeat regions, like throughout an image or maybe lines of text Photo: I believe html/DW on auto-pilot puts the repeat image next to the next so that it is even. Therefore I’d be inclined to be sure the image itself might not have a border. Copy: format the primary. Generally, the icon is actually one letter over another with the line between, arrow pointing to the line. The value is within pixels, so if you’d like less space among the lines, it ought to be less than the scale of your font. Lastly, you said the issue is in DWMX, is that while looking along at the design, or actually from the browser Sometimes the theory rendered in DW is different from the code, so go forward and F12. Reply your question Yup, its the text itself. I am sorry, when I claim DWMX I supposed thats how POST created the strong text. The preview as well … Continue reading

i’ve been subcontracted to do some work! Ain’t life beautiful?

Hi there, hope everyone’s accomplishing great. I’d love to know if any individual has advice on dealing with another freelancer during a big project. My buddy is really a Flash designer plus I’m an HTML web designer, and he was contracted by way of a company to create a Flash homepage as well as intro animation for your site. But this individual doesn’t know many about backend pattern, especially if the item involves Flash. Here I come in. On the homepage and lots of other pages, you wants to have Flash text, but also would like to update the text and not hire someone to try and do it or study Flash (because they do not have the time). So I fiddled around using the concept, checked with my local freinds and various lessons and finally located a small text-management-system that enables anyone to employ Notepad or Microsoft Word to bring up to date the text in a very Flash movie. The contribution is significant, but there’s not loads of work to carry out.. I don’t own 20 or FIFTY pages of text to promote.. only 5 pages who have a small paragraph of text. So I instructed my buddy … Continue reading
