Image size
Hi I’m fairly new to website design so I apologise profusely basically ask some finish no-brainer questions for this forum. Thus, I have the sort of question. If i have one image that is certainly for example’s sake 50kb and I’d like to see that same photo on 20 webpages, does that mean I may be using way up 1mb of host space, or could it be that it just derives passion for 50kb and is just sourced on in order to these 20 webpages from the server Lets hope I’ve explained me personally correctly. Thanks a whole lot if anyone may help Talby It will take up FIFTY KB of space within the server but normally takes up to JUST ONE MB in bandwidth. If it will require up 1MB in bandwidth actually every user who visits the website has disabled caching. Typically, each person will certainly download it one time.

I would like the look and feel of Kelly’s site for Thomasina’s……. nevertheless, I DO NOT would like to replicate this internet site in anyway. My ideas are to acquire a close way up photo of Thomasina about the right (maybe place or sitting), using a opacity picture of her in the background. I would also prefer the content (iframe in the event you will) on the left with the screen, along with another differences. linking thumbnail image to larger image
I will be new at web development and am creating a problem, I am building a jewelry site abd want to link my thumbnails to the larger image, I don’t aim for to make the seperate page per larger image since you will have alot of these individuals. Could someone remember to tell me the simplest and easiest route to accomplish this Make sure you explain in bare language since We are new I don’t understand alot of web design terms yet. Thanks, mrl51 michaelliebmanmsn. com The simplest think is that will insert a hyperlink round the thumbnail, and link it for the image, as listed below: HTML: < your href=" bigimage. jpg" > < img src=" thumbnailimage. jpg" width=" 100px" height=" 100px" /> < /a> Like that no page should be used for each photo. And to include in justlivyalife’s reply… to help eliminate the random world box around the thumbnail connection, add the: border=" 0" for the img tag. The alt property is for a tool-tip outline. < your href=" bigimage. jpg" > < img src=" thumbnailimage. jpg" width=" 100px" height=" 100px" border=" 0" alt=" this description" > < /a> If your code will be xHTML compatible, make … Continue reading

I know this should go in one of the code boards but…
MY SPOUSE AND I can’t really choose what code make use of. Here is this problem: Ok lets say Needed to make the item for my site where while you click a connection to display a photo the pic is displayed with this one area. Then when anyone click another link that old image gets replaced when using the new pic etc and so on. I mean I could just make very much individual pages but there has to be I can repeat this with css or even php or something else like that. Javascript is your best alternative. Think about precisely how a rollover is effective, think about your onClick property research just a little little imagination can be done this easily. Optionally, you could utilize javascript + screen css property Or even… you could develop: active pseudo property in CSS, but that is certainly almost not supported at all (not IE6 to be a recall). Do you know the type of script I’d personally use I mean I’m sure some javascript but My organization is not sure merely know enough to write this sort of script up.

A physically handicapped photographer needing advice
Thank you for reading this specific message. It’s like this. My friend is often a handicapped person along with he sells pictures through internet to create a life. Some day, he found which his pic appeared to be uploaded on another photo-selling website also it really disturbed your pet. There is another thing we couldn’t make clear so we would like to seek advice within this forum: This individual edited his photo by PHOTOSHOP 1) to trim the photo into smaller width and 2) to include his logo upon it. He then published the EDITED pic on his site and saved the original pic in CD-ROM. He never uploaded the original pic on world wide web and didn’t save the original pic in his PC. Strange is the fact that, when he found that his pic was uploaded with another website, it was the ORIGINAL pic (without the company logo and in its original size precisely as it has never also been trimmed before). It was a pic connected with some kids playing to the beach. He trimmed the pic around their ankles however the stolen pic showed to their ankles (as in the original). Even a whole lot worse, … Continue reading
