Customizable User Interface

I would like to renovate my own site and recreate it from scuff, I’ve been arranging some ideas plus I’ve figured out most of the stuff, but after researching several of my ideas more thuroughly I realized who’s can only become done via repository scripting PHP and MySQL I do think which I recognize nothing about. What I want to do is allow the actual staff members with my site to log proper user account where they can distribute images/pictures, post inside a blog, add inbound links, etc. Kinda like what they’ve at 1up. com for many members of the positioning. Help on Art Community Website – User Customizeable Artist Pages

Hi there, i’m not exactly sure where to put this, so Unwell give it some sort of shot here. Creating photograph portfolio site 4 friend

An associate has asked me to generate him a site to indicate off his profile of photographs. My first notion was a flash site would be cool, but We have no experience with Flash. I can style a pretty fine looking one while using the languages that I know (XHTML, PHP, XML, CSS… all that good stuff, though I’m ready and ready to learn more). Nonetheless, on main problem I have is what am i allowed to use to make it so that all he has to do is actually upload his pictures with a folder on this server, and the website do the rest. I’ve seen JSP make it happen, but first, if that is the best thing to utilize, where would be one of the best place to study it. Second, would I have to have a server, or can coursesmart be hosted somewhere else. Any design idea would be welcome, too. Thanks earlier. I got checking the research of our provider website and WE noticed a unusually high number of hits incoming from another style and design company’s website… Well sure enough they copied each of our entire site design and style, scripts, and sometimes the text!!! Their contact page possibly has our company’s contact information as well as their portfolio is definitely listing our people!!! What the terrible can we do about this They have no contact info simply no their page usually i’d threaten them using a lawyers note. How do you add those temporary floating windows seen in commercial sites?

Many sites now showcase a floating eye-port (splash screen) which can be an advertisement for any limited amout of their time before disappearing. I don’t know what this is known as but I’d like to know how it is done. I’m sure splash screens aren’t a huge hit, but my web page takes a few seconds to load up and I need to to provide a brief window which pops up upon first visit and the quickly disappears after a matter of seconds. Need advice on adding sound

Not sure if this would be a good place to ask the following but I thought I’d give it a try. I’d like to see to add a new sound loop to your site with some sort of on/off button. WE designed it around Imageready. Doing many of the layout/tags/links in Dreamweaver. I’ve heard before, I think, that Flash was good in this. Hi im wanting to design and launch an online site with my friend but have a very few noob inquiries. The site shall be music oriented. Im in search of software or any script where users can subscribe and and create a profile for generally there band, and add all there details, photos, music and maybe videos also.
