Inserting a SWF (Flash) file w/o it being blocked in users browser

I’ve a simple little interactive flash record (game of sorts) that I’ve put into it’s own website selectable from one of my sub-menus. The issue I’m having with by using flash file, at the very least with my personal browser (IE7) along with it’s standard reliability settings, is that when i access that connection to the webpage using the flash file, I have the yellow bar dropping down in the top of the browser (" IE provides restricted this internet site from running pieces of software or active BACK BUTTON controls – press her for options" ) Then Need to right click in that yellow club, select allow articles, then answer of course in pop-up in which again warms me about " this content. " This content is correctly safe, which I would be willing to certify (if that may be something I can certainly do). I wish this content to get displayed to the users, without them requiring you to jump through hoops to get to it OR be nervous concerning the nature or safety on the content. Any work-arounds in this I don’t recall requiring you to perform this purpose on other websites that are displaying flash articles, … Continue reading

Adobe Acrobat forms: able to save input data?

Hello there everyone, hope here is the right place because of this. Concerning a client who would like me to make a PDF form that allows the user to help input data, save a copy after which you can email it in order to her. But if the user doesn’t have Adobe Acrobat (aka everyone, therefore those with the reader only, ie everyone) aren’t able to save a text; only print that. So I’m sure there’s a setting that allows the user of saving a copy in the form with the inputted data ended up saving. I’ve Google’d it but can’t discover much help, so I believed the trusty WDF community would be able to help me out. BTW I am just using Adobe Acrobat NINE Pro. Would you mean online as well as offline MY PARTNER AND I thought with Adobe Specialist, you can make a PDF form… that’s, a PDF along with text boxes, look at boxes, etc…. which can be displayed on an online page and the consumer opens it along with fills it in mere like any some other form. Then, that gets submitted. But maybe you’re interested in an offline sorts of thing I’ve been … Continue reading

Never designed a site for someone else before, don’t know what to do!

At the end of this last school year, my web page design teacher introduced my family to someone who wanted several websites created, and he didn’t mind hiring student site designers. The first web site I’m working on I have to do on my own; however, I am more of an PHP coder and am significantly better at behind-the-scenes sorts of stuff, like sources and such. We have never designed a niche site for someone where they really want a specific look. I am getting the worst time ever receiving the site to look how an client wants it to appear. He wants that to be very similar to http: //www. mmc. com, and though I’ve tried to operate really hard to acquire everything how he / she wants, I was becoming very, very unmotivated because I am not doing good and am nervous about further disappointing him. I am just not your designer. This is what Concerning for the homepage to date: http: //img29. imageshack. us/img29/4209/mhkberakgjw. png POST created the tabbed spot in jQuery by myself, as I could not find any pre-made tabs that we could successfully put into practice. He seemed quite dissatisfied with that when i … Continue reading

Aspects of webdesign

Hello all!! For just a school project, I’d prefer to create an online site with an 3D IMAGES interface room (like my website: am-plaza. com) For the project, I want to speak about webdesign and I can do an ”investigation” about this. Our question is: what are the aspects of webdesign plus websites (and where it is best to pay attention to) We’ve this now: 1. Resolution. 2. Loading times. A FEW. Audience. FIVE. interface (my A 3d model room forexample) FIVE. Browser compatibility. Do you have any more SOME. User dislike of faux 3d interfaces. Severely, unless you’re speaking WOW, there is probably about zero research users enjoy interacting in this way. Read about Microsoft Bob. Hotspot 3D has a reputation unenthusiastic user " investigation" into may be reasons this sorts of interface fails. What, but what MY PARTNER AND I actually mean just isn’t that people could go 3D inside my website and also something. But Come on , man that I will create a 3D room, take a render of it, which will often be 2D. The user can interract by using it. Like my web site which youve witnessed (am-plaza. com). Thanks for the comment. A … Continue reading

CMS Tools

i posted an analogous question, but… topic switcher, basic launch, new page founder, built in seek out, xml output, logger, postal mail script for speak to. what else could you put in a new cms. Will depend on what industry the CMS is designed for. Product search might be an option. Anti-spam mechanism for the contact form. Sales/order tracker it’s possible. Probably a blog/forum startup. i use a captcha i built with php-gd, so let me be adding that towards the contact. still not sure on an easy way for generic implemenation associated with it though. article vs javascript div in the event page, _blank or parent implementing the blog in addition to search today. sales tracker is an add about script. i hope to let with this how to customize that can not be done with other CMSs with the addition of scripts and working with a standard framework and also folder system. you may add tools towards the the dashboard with the addition of a folder using the name of this folder populating that link text in the dashboard, a required navigation script with all the same name since the folder-in the folder, requires an intro. txt plus … Continue reading

Looking for examples of one-page web sites w/ a tracker or counter

Concerning a random require. I’m looking for one among a good one-page web site that features a counter or a tracker. So basically an online site that is very simple and is probably tracking/counting something. I work for a non-profit around Chicago, and we’re wanting to get a web site up that simply tracks how many people who donate to a cause/campaign and what amount has been lifted. There would be a bit of info about your campaign and whatnot, but I’m sure keeping it to one page would always be ideal. But I’m seeking good examples of the. I know I’ve seen some types of like a " countdown" timer as well as something… but I’m curious about if there’s plus the a simple counter/tracker blog. And I’d not be designing or coding something. I merely have to uncover some examples that will send to your could-be designer. So any pretty talk might look at my head. I’m just seeking examples. A site counter… when a internet page is viewed or even refreshed is a piece of cake. But you should count donations and account for donation amounts. That’s totally different from a " web site or page counter". … Continue reading

Howdy, I am accomplishing my EPQ with college please might you help me along with research by answering a shorter 5 question study Market research Link Whenever you can please email friends about it Thank You Adam You’re going concerning this all wrong. If you want help on what exactly programming language/framework to make use of to build your application, you clearly don’t know enough about any advisors to properly make your chosen practical application. Asking general questions without the many choices (I will not see ASP. NET to the list, for example) rules users. You’re also unlikely to find everyone who knows all four in the chosen languages good enough to answer your own question, so most folks will pick PHP because it’s the only one they know. I didn’t get past this particular… Speed is a criteria for your Good Programming Language Simple use for the end user Both speed and simple use are a function of an properly designed project ( irrespective of the programming vocabulary used), because that developer understands that capabilities and constraints of his environment and himself along with his skills… Support for any programming language can be a valid metric Easy to system … Continue reading

Hi there, Yes in Mid-May, my domain name www. 1728. com was stolen and today resides in China and taiwan. I’ve my website absolutely rebuilt at www. 1728. org. The hits were in relation to 30, 000 every day and now in relation to 500 – 900 per day. I’ve been trying to improve the links. Every other recommendations, suggestions, etc With thanks. There was no recourse while using domain host to the theft How did they grab it . This gives me a preview. GoDaddy doesn’t treat you for a valuable customer since you probably don’t own enough domains to help mean much to help them. Whenever many GoDaddy buyers, however, came together to form a " union" associated with sorts to quash any bullying behaviors fair representation (with the leverage being the unified threat involving taking our internet business elsewhere), I bet issues this way would get resolved a lot quicker and more emphatically. There’s probably an excellent opportunity out now there for someone to generate a web-based town that handles single customer representation for loads of service providers. Whaddya imagine PS – I guarantee in case you call GoDaddy’s assistance line and ***** during them enough, you’ll … Continue reading

Interesting Video Commenting Widget

Had been on another community forum earlier and noticed this. Thought it was before pretty interesting hence I thought I might share. It’s a video clip commenting widget so that users to comment on video that you embedd against your website. I just opted for the beta, just waiting on the email to show me how to install. http: //www. scenechat. com Found an example / live demo on their weblog. Just in case you would like to see how the item works. http: //scenechat. com/blog/demo/ Appears like they still possess a few things to operate on, or actually it may not ready for our old version associated with firefox. Either way, still pretty hip IMO. Hopefully some of you can test it out. Legitimately, I got as far as the title bar of the page. I view " SEO" and I simply click off. It really is a cool instrument, but if it’s marketed that way… it probably isn’t really. Huh Code: < title> SceneChat Sociable Video Marketing Cultural Video Sharing SVM SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION Video Commenting Plugin< /title> Only an idiot would believe a video widget is associated with SEO… and of course, the majority involving SEOs are … Continue reading
