Trying to sell services (not an ad)

I work with a local laptop or computer company, and we do web page design. It is not only a huge part involving our business, but I am the one who seem to makes the web-sites, talks directly towards customers etc.. So I have a certain amount of experience as a long way as that is going. Right now, we only help to make sites for nearby businesses etc.. and I am wanting to start off offering services average joe. As to certainly not conflict, it are not any local firms, only through the online world. It will not be a challenge seperating the not one but two. Now I understand I cannot (and would not want to) add some sites I devised for ‘work’ in an affordable portfolio. What I do can do is start my own , personal portfolio, but starting certainly is the trickiest part. Pls, how can i edit web pages on the remote server

Howdy dear, I just upload my internet pages on the rural server using ipswitch ws_ftp system. I use top page to edit my web page. But I desire to edit the site I upload into the remote server which suppose in order to save back once I finish modifying, but its not saving back to server automatically MY SPOUSE AND I finish edit that page. I tried for you to change some document extension but all this will likely not help. Pls I wish you to participate the solution. ws_ftp doesn’t make it happen automatically, you should either resend your file whenever or preview the particular page locally (eg. Amenable with… -> Net Explorer). Moderators, probably this needs to be in " More Web page design Discussion" Do you have Frontpage extensions installed Sean.

Help!!!! MAC is ruining my life!!!

All right, seriously, I hear MAC is best for Web Style and design, but every program I familiar with use on my PC is only for windows… I just now got a apple computer, and I have no idea what programs I am suposted to utilize. Does anyone other than them have MAC that will tell me things to get I helpful to use Notepad in addition to Crimson Editor, and neither FTP Pro or 3D-FTP will continue to work on this technique either. I am gonna have to know Dreamweaver eventually, but I prefer to never use it right this moment, only one major change during a period is all I’ll handle…. I am guessing there have to be some basic courses on here that will do just as well, but I was so un-MAC savvy i always don’t even know where to check….
