How to improve my layout teqnique what am i doing erroneous with these designs http: //wapside. net/salon/main. html http: //wapside. net/models2. html I have done a lot of research into web development i use photoshop to my templates I recognize about the pursuing subjects within website design Pattern Elements: Line, Shade, Depth, Movement, Place, Texture, Value, Typography Pattern Principles: Balance, Form a contrast, Direction, Economy, Emphasis, Proportion, Rhythm as well as Unity However still get instructed my designs tend to be rubbish why First an example may be not balanced. Too plain about the left, too crowded (no white space) while in the content. Second an example may be just ugly. Font too large, color overwhelming. Whether it’s healthy or not, consumers are expecting a particular look. Typically, the look they want is sort of " template-ish"… when bad when that sounds. I hate IE 6…help?

I’ve been working for a site for sometimes off and upon, but here will be problem. All the pages look good in IE 6 and firefox with the exception… the home page. http: //newterritoryoffsites. com/new list. html I realize that I include table in there and that the code is not the best. I had been wondering if We can fix the white wine space in firefox. The item looks okay around IE6. I am endeavoring to not have to redo the full page, so any suggestions could be great! With thanks!!! Hello! i viewed your page in both firefox and IE, although I don’t employ a great solution in your case, I would suggest that you simply center your desk overall. In both equally browsers, it’s heavy within the left side connected with my screen. Everyone! Maybe I am just missing something, but what do you think you’re referring to when it comes to white space You entire page is practically white room.

The Perfect Dimensions of A Webpage (Mine Are Crap)

Hi I’m making a webpage using dreamweaver cs3 and I’ve got all the site desgin, flow and framework sorted but once i created a internet page I used this dimensions 800 times 600 px because We were told that these where the best dimenions with the web. Now what Now i’m left with is some white space on the side of your page. What need is the site to fill the actual browser space….. I’ll attach a new screen shot in order that its even more clear what I’m talking about. 800 pixels widths are OK… You may center that SIX HUNDRED pixel page with any size cell phone…. wrapping all this inside a div of which gets centered on the browser: body perimeter: 0px auto; text-align: heart; content wider: 800px; text-align: kept; < body> < div id=" center" > … anything in here < /div> < /body> Cool but what about the white area WITH THANKS The reason the truth is white space to the side of your internet site in the browser is because your screen resolution is focused to something large than 800 back button 600. Hi everyone, my these people : Josh George and also I own Web host Highway. ( http: //www. thehosthighway. net ) At the moment I’m trying to integrate WHMCS towards my design, im sure lots of you know what which is. For those who dont it is just a automated billing system. Please help me make this design better

Hey guys, I’m new here but I would like some feedback. I developing this page on a stretched deadline, I’m doing the whole thing, design+development. The site is actually for a sports event, sort of like track along with field but by using other sports as well. Users can register, join teams, look at other teams. Admins might add sports, modify users, news for example.. I’m practically done when using the PHP/MySQL portion however the person I’m handling is really hung up on the design. I do not think it’s my greatest design, but POST still think it really is good. It would be a lot better plainly had far more time. I was going backward and forward and my understanding was that the person liked the design, but they are certainly not satisfied with the item. They’re saying anything is " missing", the actual layout needs far more " padding" understanding that it looks as a wall of text They carry on referring to your Vancouver2010. com website (thanks to create my job a great deal harder) and they demand me to use some of the people elements yet they still want it to look such as current design. … Continue reading →

un-written rule? Images under a vertical menu?

Hi everyone. Now i’m a wannabee web-designer. I improve a template structured design company. I have no training in addition to what i include picked up over time. I have a question associated with " The RIGHT strategy to design a website" Here at work we all get many opinions within the do’s and you should not s. I sooo want to get some professional advice merely may. Picture if you could a simple template layout. a) Major, header with a logo. b) Quit side, a " VERTICAL" column together with navigation menu. c) Under the header so to the right on the menu we have the main Body textual content area. d) footer with the base of the website. Dilemma: Considering the above template layout planned, we often end up with around 5 hyperlinks to 5 pages while in the navigation column. Often this creates lots of empty space while in the navigation menu area. Padding troubles

Hello everyone… Been having some trouble keeping this latest web web page Ive been doing and quite honestly cant seem to get it to your workplace. Well thats definitely not entirely true, the site works fine within Firefox, but possibly not in Safari as well as Chrome. The site address is: www. btypedesign. com/Tests The problem I will be referring to is at the end of the web site. The white range or actually, white space that seems to signify up on Chrome along with Safari. The page was made to look the way it results on Firefox (no room, compeltely flush) Ive like narrowed it down to the social storage devices icons.
