I will be eager to learn Web development and was curious about if anyone can recommend some good Web Desgin Books or Websites. Regards in advance.
i’d advise reading in (X)html, css, and then move onto javascript as well as server side ‘languages’ like php, asp, etc
good starting point is html dog and a list apart
books become dated before long, however these website will assist keep you updated and are an awesome resource which novices and experts will consult. when your further down the line, buying books (on php, ruby and rails,. world wide web, etc) would often be beneficial, however not for html, css as well as beginnings on website design/ dev

I learned web page design with a very simple HTML reference book that had every one of the different elements listed with their proper use.
The best way I actually realized was by dissecting the websites i always liked and contemplating how they completed what they do.
I recommend this specific book to anyone starting out. Head First WEB CODING with XHTML & CSS. It’s written in the normal conversational way as well as being colored with illustrations and humor to assist you to understand the ideas.

Regarding HTML, CSS, JS along with PHP, www. w3schools. com is what I recommend. It has a new category of commands/script from which to choose.
