Features anyone downloaded SP2 for Windows XP I did and I don’t like it! I have Thumb on my web page and it won’t allow me to dispay it unless I select " Let Blocked Content" with the Information Bar. I merely downloaded it currently but I’m not happy with the results. This pages look aweful! There’s nothing being displayed the right way. Besides Flash WHEN I downloaded a script from DynamicDrive that does not display correctly plus my popup home windows don’t work.
Any person else having promlems together with Service Pack 3 for XP
I’ve had SP2 for almost thirty days and haven’t have any problems in any respect.
you can set it so that it always shows that style of stuff.
I’m sure I’ll go mess up, oh I am talking about ‘test’ it in someone elses PC before I click with installing it on my very own… thanks for the particular heads up though.
AFAIK there have been no changes for you to IE in SP2 other than the popup blocker. This causes difficulties with popups (duh), but that is it.

Evidently, this is the widespread problem MS understands. They have a directory of programs that wouldn’t work/gives error messages.

Basically, Service Pack 3 has been considered to be extremely buggy. I’m visiting wait about thirty days before deploying this on any client machines, so every one the bugs could be worked out.
One of several guys at HoH was deploying it where you work, had to undo it because of every one of the incompatibilities.
MY PARTNER AND I put it with my laptop, only issue to date is that I’d to update my video card people on it to get City of Heroes.

Ne who SP2 is for morons that can not secure their COMPUTER, it’s basicly just simply security fixes along with a few upgrades placed in. I’m thinking that maybe SP2 will be ok it’s only that n00bs arn’t establishing it up appropriately and it’s merely a setting that these people havent turned on/off that is stuffing up his or her PC.
SP2 is just hosing systems. It did SOMETHING that’s causing incompatibilities with some software. over 200+ reported incompatibilities to date.
I casualy mounted SP2 on an older computer used just as one office server (just to get rid of that bloody windows update window)… now my printer’s won’t work Should i assume this really is rolled back or include the changes permient
