vertical link buttons within the header
Hello there, my client possesses approved of our design for her website. However, I decided to generate a newer layout for that links. On almost every site either the same kind involving layout.. where the links of the website are laid out horizontally, left to help right. So my idea should be to leave the location from the links in identical area (within your header, sharing the actual logo and site title) but this occassion the links are generally arranged vertically. It appears though that so as to pull this off I will have to have smaller text versus the text shown inside my attached instance. What would you think most tv audiences would feel about this style Have anyone seen other sites that follow identical vertical style Any idea on how Allow me to use the vertical style effectively I guess you’ll need to give us a connection to see what a person mean. … I am just not seeing an attached example. yes, it doesn’t seem like you attached nearly anything… I do that everyday with e-mails. I’ll write some long e-mail around the attachment, and then the minute I press give, I realized MY SPOUSE AND I … Continue reading

Is there a site for nice color schemes?
I have layouts, just dont own color schemes… just about any sites http: //www. colorschemer. com/online. html Although I propose learning more about color generally speaking… color scheme generators can only present you with a formulated loook… can’t present you with that extra edge given at a custom scheme, let alone the different feelings invoked from several colors… (whens a final time you noticed a mcdonalds advertising in dull greys and blues ) Gives thanks man OMG!!! They stole the color table script (the color table over the bottom)!!! What must i do! With the record… The script: Code: functionality DrawPalette() var outside, middle, inner=255; insurance coverage. write(‘< div ID=" palette" > ‘); insurance coverage. write(‘< table cellpadding=0 cellspacing=1 border=0 bgcolor=" #000000" > ‘); insurance coverage. write(‘< tr> ‘); for (outer = 255; outside > = 0; outer-=51) for (middle = 255; center > = 0; middle-=51) for (inner = 255; intrinsic > = 0; inner-=51) tR=HEXCodes255 — outer; tG=HEXCodes255 — middle; tB=HEXCodes255 — inner; document. write(‘< td height=" 11" width=" 11" bgcolor=" #’+tR+tG+tB+’" > < a new href=" #" onClick=" ChangeColors(‘+(255 — outer)+’, ‘+(255 — middle)+’, ‘+(255 — inner)+’); return phony; " > < img src=" obvious. gif" border=" … Continue reading

Reciprocal Manager?
Hello there everyone! I’m using a programme called Reciprocal Manager for the site I am working away at. The actual links page can be here: http: //www. greentag. co. uk/greentag_links There exists a border on the ideal and left hand side of the table that’s holding all of the links but after i change the model, the whole factor changes and appears at the end of the web page. In terms of I can notify to change the border I am going to change the. border style and this also only has a single attribute to them so I’m not really changing any positioning around the table or anything. It’s really confusing. I was just simply wondering if any one else has used this recently and do you realize what I’m doing wrong, any ideas etc. I tried your Reciprocal Manager forums but there exists never anybody there and no one has responded to my place. Thanks before hand!

Hi there, i’m not exactly sure where to put this, so Unwell give it some sort of shot here. I’ve been asked to assistance develop an fine art community website, and within the laundry list of things they really want, i can can everything they’ve requested, but I am a lttle bit stuck on their request to let artists to be able to edit their unique pages, similar to how people have the ability to redesign their myspace and facebook or livejournal websites. the point being therefore , the artists could work with their pages while their websites. obviously i might make a basic template for many artists, but i guess i’m rather stuck on how exactly i can accomplish this. i can imagine a good number of ways using php along with mysql, but as i’ve never discovered this before, we wonder if perhaps there’s a better way, or in the event that anyone here appreciates how myspace or maybe livejournal allow that. i know loads of css editing and planning could well be involved, but sure, i just hope someone may help me out as well as point me inside the right direction. Thanks Paul online world. flooringsales. co. great britain Have a glance at www. nvu. org This really is an open form program that does essentially the same job as Dreamweaver but devoid of the price tag. css
Is there any free on the web tutorials that make clear style sheets, especially positioning in css, within plain english w3c can be completey useless. Wow what a harsh statement! I believe W3C’s tutorials tend to be great… try such (other than W3C regarding course) POST figured it away myself. Thanks, even though. the biggest problums i have with the courses at w3 schools is always that they go to slow as well as to fast. Other tutorials grant you check points which you go through however w3 schools does this it is only the blog titles. W3 schools is ok if you need to brush up and also are ok which has a technology and are sharpening further the skills which you will want in it. The best eay ihave found though to learn about a new technology is usually to look in a book as they usually have a lot more detailed information. (sorry about posting in the dead topic ).

Designing for maximum browser compatibility …
What does one all think in relation to designing for internet browser compatibility Up until recently I had just been focusing on optimizing my internet sites for Internet Explorer; which i thought was one of the most common browser. I have heard even more lately about Firefox and Netscape browsers and how they might display content in another way to. I downloaded both these browsers and seen my site in most three and MY SPOUSE AND I only noticed insignificant variations. Mostly it turned out minor text sizing and spacing difficulties. The image boarders appeared expanded somewhat in Firefox in addition to Netscape too, and the default window width is bigger. (Myself and also most people i always know, usually view the internet in a 800×600 IE window and my web-sites are disigned to best integrate this siz windowpane as well) So I do not see these small variations as that big of your deal to fret much about. The viewer would still find the same info via my site if they were on these three browsers. But I saw a few other sites which looked way down in Firefox along with Netscape over IE. Maybe My business is doing … Continue reading

musician website bio page
Greetings, I’m sharing a number of the ideas for the artist’s page. The page is damaged in two vast columns. The initial column is exactly what I call that " multimedia column" because you do have a large picture of the artist, then a url below the photograph that takes you an external HTML-coded photograph gallery. Takes only one click, and a massive window pops ” up “, loading the primary picture. The second element is really a link to music samples you could hear through Serious Audio. One click takes you a page containing the album cover plus the list of playable sounds from that album. The third element is a link directly to a web-based music store, especially useful in the event the artist recently has a new album. The next column is the particular " get to find out me" column, which has a biography paragraph, and a list of performance credits, as well as discography. For this discography list, We are thinking about " borrowing" the Audiogalaxy Rhapsody type, where you have a small icon of the album cover placed alongside that album’s title. A couple of issues: External microsoft windows that pop-up when clicked. I … Continue reading
