JetEye/JetBot Search Engine?
Any individual else notice a ton of hits from this netblock 64. 71. 144. 0/25 These have used nearly 250 MB of bandwidth about my site. The particular IP block can be owned by " Plane Eye Technologies. " Apparently, this is some new optimization: http: //www. jeteye. com/. Google doesn’t even use that much bandwidth in 30 days. I have banned all of Jet Eye’s IPs via my site in the meantime (using. htaccess). To complete so, add these lines to your own. htaccess: Code: Deny by 64. 71. 144. 0/25 Deny from 64. 62. 142. 224/27 The useragent per request was: Jetbot/1. 0.

propagate?
hi all. Im trying to puzzle out a mates web hosting. an email he recieved said that he would be able to connect via ftp considering the address once your domain is lively and propagated. If they propagated mean lata I do think it means should the DNS servers have been updated with the new domain. propagated means to spread, extend and so on. hence im guessing thats just what it means…. " Propagation" means two things which i know of. 1) Seeing that jbagley said, the updating connected with internal DNS server information considering the new domain throughout all servers within the host’s network (typically up to 6 hours). 2) The particular updating of external server information (i. at the. domain registrar servers) considering the new DNS information with the domain. This may take up to SEVENTY TWO hours, depending for the TLD registered (. com,. net sale,. org and anything through Very Sly takes the longest whereas other TLDs like. ca tend to be just around a couple involving hours. ) I recall Verisign or various other entity saying of which, given certain ailments, a domain is now able to take five units to propogate. WHEN I don’t … Continue reading

Email server?
Not sure if this is actually the right place in order to post this, but I simply purchased a domain name with the particular intent of using it for email exclusively. I was questioning if anyone could possibly point me to a cheap, fast webhost that provides pop3 Thank you! : Chris What about something like: http: //www. netfirms. com They’re just about $5. 00 per 30 days. and also, http: //www. ipowerweb. com ($7. 00 per month) Those are pretty cheap with no banner ads. Should you be going to pay out $5/month, I recommed an individual 1and1 instead. If you’d like something more global financial: http: //uzipp. com/ 1and1 does not offer much with $5. 00/month. They offer the use of pre-installed CGI scripts, but not the CGI-BIN. No PHP, Zero MySQL, No SSI I’d never join that. uzipp. com looks very good though. Of course you’re right, MY SPOUSE AND I didn’t checked what exactly 1and1 gives to get 5 bucks, as well as it’s almost next to nothing. I signed up for his or her promotion of Three years free hosting that ended at the start of this yr, and it’s superb. 500MB HD living space, … Continue reading

Translation Tools
I have a client who My business is doing some work for at the moment. We have as well as all launched and established but attractive sites target audience could be spanish and french in addition to english. I need something to translate the pages of the site. Something a little like google’s translator but better if at all possible and one that you could actually add onto your internet site. The particular google and altavista versions are examples. I was hoping various other people on the board may be able to help Thanks. Unfortunaly I have not found any easy way to avoid it of this. Online translators are sufficient for getting the ‘gist’ of what on earth is ment in another language, But for full comprehension all of them fall very limited. There are lots of things you will need to consider such seeing that sentence structure, literial tranlation, spelling errors, similar words and phrases, etc.. You really cannot beat the neural for this career. In my experiances it’s just best for getting somebody reputiable in order to tranlate your copy. And get many people fluent in that language evaluate the copy, because you do not know without … Continue reading

So how exactly does one center any div, without making use of tables I’m absolutely lost here. Thanks for virtually every help. Code: … < head> < style type=" text/css" media=" screen" > html code, body text-align: middle; #centre width: 760px; text-align: left; margin: 0 automobile; < /style> < /head>… Code: < div id=" centre" > This block element is going to be centred in the actual browser window. < /div> The < DIV> tag is similar to < P> tag. Just set this attribute ALIGN=" center" as well as you’re on. Code: < div align=" center" > this text stands in the centre. < /div> Even so, that’s not W3C good.. Ok, I’ve tried every one of those things, but I didn’t make use of the margin: 0 automobile; line. That won’t affect the centering have to it Code: body text-align: middle; background-color: #2C4762; font-family: verdana, arial; font-size:. 8em; . major width: 900px; levels: 100%; border-width: 1px; border-color: #546A80; border-style: strong; background-image: url(.. /images/sky. jpg); background-repeat: no-repeat; backroud-color: #2C4762; Subject to the code, it could possibly.
